Had a great birthday dinner. Had a cheeky wee groupon which made this a bargain. Gorgeous special of trout and curried mussels and my friend had salmon. All perfect. Only negative was the creme brûlée had more of a thick mousse consistency rather than soft creamy, which I would have preferred. Well worth the visit.

We visited Gallaher and co on a busy Saturday evening. The restaurant looks very nice and modern and we enjoyed our visit. I had the sirloin steak which came with a beautiful honey mustard sauce, it was delicious. My girlfriend had a chicken dish that came with lovely caramelized onions and fried potatoes, I thought it was really tasty, generally... More

Went for afternoon tea on a Friday afternoon, was very quiet. Nicely decorated bistro in a central location. The afternoon tea was very good, the hot sandwiches were amazing & large portions

Had dinner with my family here. We all had something different. The starter's were poor, I had the goats cheese tart, it was spot the cheese on it. My sister had the prawns in batter they looked huge, but it was all soggy batter. My main course was rib eye steak, it was a tasteless piece of cardboard. The other... More

We were a party of five for dinner on a Thursday night. Evening started well enough, the server was pleasant but they had some large groups in so it was slow. We all ordered from the prix fixe menu and the food overall was very good, the only exception were the two people in our party that ordered the rib... More

Look its a coffee shop which serves good hot coffee but that really is as far as its goes. Nothing special but does what it says on the tin.

I have been there before and it was excellent. This time, my daughter and I, meeting an old friend, had the fish and chips. The batter on the fish was soggy, as were the chips, They didn't make a big deal about it. Our meal had been paid in advance by my husband. I think we got away with a... More

Decor is lovely and the staff are very efficient but the food is a real let down. The mains are approx €16 and are the same quality as a supermarket hot counter. The starters are below average and I would advise anyone to avoid the chicken wings as a starter...I didn't know cooked chicken meat was meant to be grey.....

The location is great however the food was just okay; this could be partially because the waitress was alone and got slammed during lunch. The drinks were slow to come and the food wasn't as hot as it could have been due to wait times. The environment is cute so maybe it was just an off day.
