What an experience, we simply cant stop talking about the wonderful meal we had. We ordered lamb and ox fillet, both were so tender. For dessert we had chocolate mousse with raspberry sorbet and creme brûlé. Both still waters our mouths. The only regret I have is that we did not have more days in Dublin for a second (or... More

We had been walking around Dublin and after a long day were looking for a nice place to eat. It was about 3 or 4 pm Saturday and to our surprise many places were closed. We saw a pub (with a "James Joyce" recommendation) and was willing to give it a try except Jeannette is a vegetarian (who does eat... More

Myself and a friend popped in here for a quick lunch and it was just all horrible. There were flies all over us as we tried to eat, i had the ribs that were just all fat...my friend had the €11 scallops...and there were only 3 small scallops for that price! So it was expensive& disgusting...safe to say I wont... More

We came upon this bistro by accident looking for a nice meal after a long hike. What a surprise! Welcomed immediately upon arriving. Really nice atmosphere - we each went for the special price fixed menu option. We split a fabulous tempura battered prawn appetizer, both got the braised lamb (the best lamb we have every tasted!) and split -... More

We ducked in here for a late lunch and it was pretty good. Nice friendly staff and even the busboy gave us some pointers on his favorite pubs.

We visited the restaurant in the evening for dinner and it was delicious. We all had fillet steaks with sweet potato chips and they were the thickest and best fillet steaks I have ever seen or tasted. The staff were so attentive and always making sure we had drinks. You can take your own alcohol so we took a bottle... More

We picked it because i often have lunch here if in town and like and because of the byo facility. I want to preface this by saying i usually like their food. But on this occasion... More
