We were staying at a B & B nearby and we're looking for somewhere for a quick meal and thought we would try the Bistro at the Hampton Hotel as the menu looked interesting. The reality was that most of the food that we ordered had been cooked from frozen bought in food. My wife started with the bruschetta which... More

We had a meal here as we were staying at the hotel. There is a nice ambiance to the restaurant and we were lucky to hear the Pacino Brothers play live music. I was just surprised that there were not more people there. The food was very nice, although the chips were overcooked. The sticky toffee pudding was the best!

It was our first night in Ireland. We had checked into the hotel earlier that day and after a long nap, we didn't feel up to traveling far for food. So, we gave the Bistro a try. First of all, the young lady that served was a delight. She was very friendly and upbeat! We started with the seafood chowder.... More

Went in here by accident really as it was raining so we decided to go in for lunch. It was quiet but filled up a little later. Super tasty sandwiches and chips and fairly priced, definitely worth a stop!

Only visiting the bar and found it to be a very unexciting place with staff with a couldnt care less attitude to service and to top it all they have now taken down the outside seating area which was the only thing that would attract one to the place! Get a grip please as this place is crying out for... More

We went in for a quick bite and enjoy the coupon for wings at the Hampton. The sandwich we ordered was out of this world and the wings -if you like hot- were terrific. Actually pricing was very reasonable and bartender very friendly. Definitely also appreciated was the quick service and serene atmosphere, Dublin can get quite loud and busy,... More

Meeting someone for coffee, we both got a bit peckish and decided to go with a soup and toasted sandwich. Simple fare for sure, but it was very tasty and well priced. Really nice staff also, and a good venue for a business meeting with a quick snack.

A simple pasta dish with glass of wine reasonably priced at less than Euro20. Cosy atmosphere in the bar and friendly staff, quick service, and regulars added to the ambience.
