We have eaten in the Step Inn on several occasions in the past and have been pleasantly surprised by the food. It always gave the impression that the chef knew how to inject a little bit of thought and expertise to lift the meal, however simple, above the ordinary. Last Sunday's meal however was bland, tasteless and underwhelming. Typical of... More

As a family (14 in group) we had a wonderful meal yesterday. Never disappointed with the quality of food, staff and level of service. Highly recommend

The Step Inn is a great pub for a drink or some food. The burger or steak is great value for money! Well worth a visit! The barman Declan is a gentleman and is a credit to the business! The service and drinks provided are of top quality!

Pub grand food fine. Ladies toilets needs a lot of work. Toilet seat on floor broken locks on door. Smoking area pretty disgusting. Nice furniture but walls filthy awning ripped to pieces. Not a good look!!!!

The corners of the chairs were black with dirt and the carpet looked like it had never been cleaned. The menu was uninspiring. The burger was ok but the fajitas had a small portion of chicken with a big serving of greasy veg. Not a great experience.

Been here on several occasions, service is always second to none. Food is exceptional, and staff are always so friendly. Cocktails and pints are always fresh. The bar manager Declan always has time for a chat and is a great bar man. This place never disappoints! 😊

My husband and I went for dinner this evening I ordered the steak medium, it was tough and burnt, my husband had the burger also over cooked and tasteless. I was terribly disappointed and complained only to be offered a complementary glass of wine, but still had to pay full price for the steak which I could not eat. I... More

The Step Inn hits the mark for all age groups. During the day the pub is extremely child friendly with a good menu for kids however if there is nothing on the children's menu for your child the staff will request half portions of the adult menu. In the evening the pub becomes livelier with great entertainment at the weekend.... More
