I have been going to Anns for breakfast for more than 30 years. It is a wonderful place which serves a great breakfast and the portions are very generous. Anns is uniquely Old Dublin in style and there is a lovely vibe throughout the bustling...More
Met my son today in Dublin.Decided to get cuppa and cake before we went browsing around..stopped in Ann's..what a disappointment, food ok but how unfriendly the staff were,a simple good morning and a smile costs nothing!! Plenty of pleasant people looking for jobs
It was an after theater treat (ATT)! So attended a show at the Abbey Theater (awesome!) and decided on a take-away afterward and decided to give Ann’s a try. Not a mistake. You can make your own sandwich in this place and that we did!...More
Once upon a time Dublin had Bewleys or Kylemore. They were your choices pretty much. Now, there's a charming cafe every few yards. Too many in fact. Too many chains for sure.
Popped in here as moved up recently for work and was passing.

What a tremendous disappointment.
We had some overprized lukewarm tasteless soup of the day, absolutely unremarkable.

No security, no police everyone can do what they like. I've red comments from tourists saying that drug dealing is going on outside Ann's bakery and they are allowed to use the restaurant toilet as it should be for customers only. I was at Moore Street last week and it looks worse then I ever have seen. Drugged people are lying on the ground. I called the police they told me it's standard. It's sad as young children walk around with parents looking at this and thinking it's normal.
