What a great find. From arrival and the relaxed maitre D and barman both of whom executed their pitch and patter perfectly to some really nice food. Great venue. The monk fish special was nice and as was my colleagues seafood pot (enormous and fresh)

I ordered a small sea food and fresh oyster. Usually, solo traveler is not welcome in busy dinner time but Matt The Thresher was very friendly. The fresh oyster, especially Galway's Oyster was very good.More

If you like seafood, Matt the Thresher delivers. Our table had the Seafood Bowls, the Hake and a Steak. The steak was overcooked unfortunately, but the seafood was terrific! Service was very slow, but otherwise a great atmosphere and fun place to dine!More
