This is a fabulously us restaurant just a short stroll away from Merrion square.i was in Dublin for three nights and ate here each evening. I had one of the specials each night and it was beautifully cooked. I saw people tucking into plates of oysters mussels and it all looked, wonderful. Prices are reasonable, wine list fine and the staff... More

We were a group of 12 and had a semi private area. Worked really well. Ordered food in advance so service was quick and efficient. Food was very good. Would definitely go back.

Visited with work colleagues before Christmas. Excellent wine list and drinks service. Food menu had a good range of options and we had a very enjoyable evening. My starter of oysters au natural was really fresh and followed with Dublin bay prawns lightly fried in a good batter. Great atmosphere and staff were super. Good place to go with a... More

This is probably the best seafood restaurant in Dublin. The fish is fresh and prepared simply, but masterfully. Everything was well executed, prepared with a light and skillful hand, and served professionally in an attentive, but unobtrusive, manner. The restaurant itself is contemporary and bright with a gastropub feel. This was a terrific experience from start to finish.

This was the best meal we had in Dublin. Started with a yummy white Russian made with Baileys which I highly recommend. All the seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. In a a town where good food is hard to come by, this is a not miss experience.

We regularly stop for a bite at Matt the Thresher in Bird Hill near Nenagh. This Dublin spin off is really good. We came once before when it first opened and enjoyed a good lunch despite the settling down process. This visit, we came for lunch during the pre Christmas madness that develops in Dublin. We had booked lunch in... More
