the food is really good at this place...the experienced started off bad when the seated 6 men (4 over 6'4") in a table that was too small and they didn't want to move us and kept saying it is a 6 top...after complaining to the manager he reluctantly moved us to a table that could seat 6 big men

Came to Matt the Thrasher to try the Oysters and they were the best I have ever had! We also got the seafood chowder and a cheese plate - nothing disappointed. We had a great time chatting and eatinget at the bar. Would recommend to everyone!

In an area not known for its cuisine, we were delighted to discover such tasty food. My monkfish was very tasty, and my tiny wife nearly finished an impressively large bucket of shellfish. Great service and atmosphere.

Our server Matt was excellent and intertaining. Our food was so delicious and excellent. Our French Chablis wine that Matt recommended was wonderful. I had the best oysters in my life, our fresh catch fish of the day was so fresh and delicious. Our Lemon Posset dessert was amazing. I could go on and on with compliments. Highly recommend this... This was not my first visit here and it did not disappoint. Well worth the visit and only a short dander from St Stephens Green.

The food was excellent, the service was terrific also. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Somewhat off the beaten path but will worth it. Also, Ireland has a great classification system on their menus that alert anyone with dietary restrictions.

Fantastic fresh seafood! Both the starter and the main dish were really good. They had 3 types of fish as catch of the day when I was there.

lot of different options for dinner, and a nice sized bar. Greeter is the star of the show, who is very engaging, and fun.. Food was solid and had some craft brew.
