My mum brought me here and I had a steak burrito, it was filled up with salsa, beans, brown rice, and all sorts of delicious bits and bobs. My mum had a burrito bowl (no carbs for her). We ordered in the Rathmines restaurant and had it wrapped up for a takeaway. Well, the burrito was delicious and massive. I... More

The shield guards are so low that when people order there burritos they hang over as they order. I've literally seen customers sneeze and cough into the burrito ingredients. Very unhygienic. It's often very cold too and not hot enough. You'll have a sore stomach after eating one of these burritos.

A friend introduced me to tolteca last summer, I have since had tolteca, Boojum, and also mamas revenge, Tolteca is the one I always go back to particularly the rathmines shop as it seems to be the freshest from their dublin shops in my opinion, one downfall I'd say is at times the tortilla chips seem to be laying there... Good range of choices, take away or eat in. Portions huge and delicious although I wish they were a bit hotter!

Food was good - service was friendly, wouldn't be right to say it was fast as I literally had the place to myself. Good value Burrito bowl at €7.75

The service was fast, efficient and friendly and the burrito delicious! Especially enjoyed the hot salsa. A stand out in the burrito field.

Tolteca is a nice place to eat but when it comes to their burritos, they're quite average compared to their competitors. I am not a huge fan of their salsa and their marinated chicken is okay. The burrito itself is huge and very filling but burritos of similar quality and quantity for cheaper in other establishments.

Of course it's not really a restaurant, but a Mexican "fast food" with very good options based on the combinations that you can do, price and staff's service. Make your choice, ask, pay, eat and go... If you want this, you found a perfect place.

For the very hungry and cash-strapped in need of spice and reasonably healthy (u choose) food in city centre Dublin, Tolteca is one of the better options.

Have been trying out a few Mexican places for lunch and the Tolteca on Camden Street is by far the best. The food is fresh, the salsa great (try the salsa verde) and the ladies working there are bright and cheerful. The meat quality is very high, compared particularly to Zombrero nearby, and they don't mush the chicken up into... More
