Still in a mild state of disbelief at being charge an extra 75c premium for oat milk in a flat white. SEVENTY-FIVE CENT.
So every three coffee's they can buy a fancy litre of it - crazy.
Definitely never going back, too outraged.
I'm sitting in the beautiful garden on the Old Kilmainham hospital and have just had the best almond croissant ever from Lime tree café with a coffee.
I've gotten takeaway from there on previous occasions and it has always been fresh and tasty.
Second trip to Dublin and my second stop at this cafe. Had a wrap to share, and a lovely touch was that they split it on two plates with salad as standard. Shame we arrived a little after the lunch rush as there was only...one veggie choice left. Really nice coffee and good place to sit in the window and people watch.More
Came in at 13:30 on a Saturday to find all sandwich selections gone but 1, which are unfortunately all pre-made so don’t take into account allergens or intolerances.
Would make more sense to make as they are ordered but it’s their way of doing things....Coffee is nice.More
My wife and I were early for our visit to Kilmainham Goal and as it was lunchtime decided to call in at the Limetree Cafe. The order was taken promptly at the counter and our sandwiches and drinks arrived at our table soon after. Staff...very pleasant, efficient and polite. Very clean establishment. Food very good. If you and wanting a lunch of soup, sandwiches or wraps, I can recommend this place whole heartedly. We would certainly return.More
This is a pleasant cafe with average food and routinely pleasant staff, but not more than that. It’s the first place that we’ve eaten out in Dublin and considering that it currently rates #6 in Dublin cafes, I’m left wondering what the rest are like....Not unhappy that we’ve eaten here bit not happy enough to come back either.More
We stopped here while waiting for our tour time at the Killomain Jail (across the street). This place has very much a European Café atmosphere to it. We ordered some beverages and a couple of pastries, and sat outside to enjoy the wonderful summer weather....The staff was pleasant, although they were very busy during this early afternoon period. Overall, this was a good stop for us to pass a little time.More
