On our way back from Phoenix Park we found this Restaurant/Pub accidentally. it's on the quay of river Liffey near Guiness Storehouse. The menu ist a nice mixture of Irish and Czech dishes as like as the beers. We ate the "Special" for lunch - Vegetable soup, roast beef with excellent gravy and dumplings - very good. Note: Draught Pilsner... More

I eat here quite often and I just love the food. Portions are massive and prices are very good. So I wouldn't advice to get a starter and a main course unless you're starving and eating for 2! There's a selection of Czech traditional dishes as well as beers. Staff is very friendly and atmosphere nice.

you could easily pass this place by, the frontage isn't the best and its not in a great part of town. However i would strongly urge you to give this place a chance. with its Czech dishes aplenty, Czech beer (& craft) on tap, friendly service and value for money its a must for a bunch of friends on the... We were travelling as back packers through Dublin recently and we were advised to seek out early bird specials as eating in the city can work out expensive. We were staying in the Smithfield area and immediately jumped on the EBS offered by Pifko. 15 Euros for two courses, bargain. We inquired inside and were told that the starters were... More

We wandered in quite late in the afternoon, hungry and foot-sore after a very long walk around Dublin. The waitress was welcoming, efficient and looked after us very well. The food was excellent pub food with a Czech and Slovak influence. The beer flight consisted of 4 excellent craft beers from both the Czech Republic and Slovakia, all were great,... More

Very good czech and slovak food. I was satisfied. Beer is OK, but nothing special. I think that 4/5 is enough.

We discovered this restaurant while walking back across the Liffey to the south side from Smithfield. The sign outside caught our eye and the prices looked quite reasonable. The menu seems to be very much traditional Czech foods. In fact we seemed to be the only Irish people in the restaurant. Which makes me think this must be authentic. The... More
