Visited on a Tuesday night, it was very busy. Live music was fantastic, great food and lovely atmosphere! Definitely recommend it!

We were a group of 8 seeking a place to eat in the Temple Bar area. It was hard to even find a restaurant where the 8 of us could stand around and wait, let alone be seated more or less quickly. Then we spotted the Merchant's Arch Bar and Restaurant down a side alley. The downstairs was fairly packed,... More

Yes, this is at tourist's bar. I am a tourist so it's perfect. Also - yes, the drinks are more expensive here, but that's typical for temple bar as that money is also going to support the awesome live music. This is my go-to evening bar when I want some good live Irish music. This bar (in my opinion) has... More

Great bar right on the river. Live musician played some great indie songs. The staff were so friendly and one even posed for a photo with us. I would definitely return here on another visit to Dublin. Prices were as expensive as you would expect for Dublin. Around 27.50€ for a bottle of wine.

The entire Temple Bay area was quite busy, but we were able to get a table for an early dinner at this restaurant upstairs. Live music on both the main floor and the upper floor, but both musicians at the same time made it a bit overwhelming while dining. Food was decent; service good. We had Cottage Pie which was... Our first experience in a Dublin pub. The place was alive with music and we were seated in the gallery overlooking the live performer. We were a group of 7 and all our dishes were of an excellent quality. I took the Guinness casserole which is highly recommended and my mate opted for the fish and chips which was the best... More

We had a nice evening with friends and great music in good atmosphere. Unfortunately the door stayed open every time someone entered, so that it got very cold because of the wind. The food was not the best. I had a salad, in which I found the stump of the salad. The chicken was quite burned and hard as shoe... More
