Went here with my wife and another couple and had a fantastic time. The atmosphere is modern yet comfortable and romantic. After a few drinks and some appetisers, we all welcomed our main courses, all ordered on the stone. Two of us had meat while the other two had fish. The meals were served on a nine-inch diameter round piece... More

My husband I had dinner at rustic stone today. The food was magnificent. The quality of each ingredient is superb. We had beef on the stone- this is where you are brought a semi cooked beef and have a chance to finish cooking it on a stove tongue liking. It was delicious. For appetizers we had two seafood dishes, also... More

Heard good review from a tour friend and tried rump meat, which was the cheapest one. The meat was all red and too tough to cut into pieces , naturally I cannot chew texture parts out. The longer it takes , the cooler the stone gets, so toward the end of the meal, I could not grill the meat. If... More

Can thoroughly recommend Rustic Stone. Maitre'd was very welcoming. Great atmosphere and everyone happy with their food. Couldn't fault it. Lovely vibe in the bar afterwards too.

My boyfriend and I visited the restaurant on a Saturday night, he had been before but it was my first time. We were on a flying visit to Dublin and wanted something a bit special! The food was incredible. He had the fillet and I had the rump with prawns. It is a bit smoky but the novelty of cooking... More

Went on a taste voucher which was three course and a bottle of wine. Firstly the front of house (female) was not friendly at all. I asked did she want the voucher before seating us? To be asked was I sure that I mentioned I was using a voucher to dine? Yes I had twice on booking. Bearing in mind... More

I went twice to that restaurant. First time I got there early and got a table next to the window on the main floor. Among other things I tried Ginger lemon, salt cod, tuna special and beetroot salad. When I went to the restaurant second time I was sited at the rather unfortunate table on the lower floor just right... More

Went here after a show at the Olympia theatre. We shared a starter of crab mayonnaise on toast with herbs and wheatgrass. I had a small hamburger with polenta chips and my husband had fish in a bag which was mackerel fillet baked in a bag with carrots, fennel, saffron and quinoa.I had frozen yogurt and sorbet for dessert. The... More

Visiting Dublin from USA, chose this restaurant to bring the family to. We had previously visited the upstairs bar earlier in the week and we were impressed, the finishes were beautiful, the music was fun and the bartender was very well trained. We decided to come back for dinner. We were promptly seated, and the table for four was very... More

I must admit Rustic Stone would not have been my very first choice because it looks like a tourist place. However, a friend of mine invited me for a dinner there, saying I wouldn't regret it. At the first glance, I thought the restaurant reflects the brand: meat served on a hot stone. On the menu there were a lot... More
