The weekend specials are very good Sunday roast etc. Not your mothers version! Lovely cocktails and drinks menus. Every xmas in here is now a ritual for me. Odessa is close and bests it by just a tad. Still the exchequer is a Dublin institution.

The Exchequer is a gastro pub in the centre of Dublin, top quality pub grub and service. The bar has a cool relaxed feel and is a cool place to spend an afternoon / evening.

We stopped by the Exchequer for one drink as we were passing through the street. Nicely made cocktails and a decent selection of other drinks available. The bar staff were friendly and the bar had a good vibe and appeared to be full of locals after work which is always a good sign!

Had lunch here yesterday and it was pretty good. It was a warm and humid day so the front window was open and the hubby and I sat in the window watching the world go by. The lunch special is a daily soup and daily sandwich for €8.50. I think it included a coffee as well but we were very... More

We had a roast dinner here on a Sunday. Hands down best roast dinner I have ever had. For £50 you get a full roast chicken with roast potatoes, honey roast carrots, loose stuffing and mash enough for four people, accompanied with a bottle of wine. You carve the chicken yourself. The taste was incredible and the bar/restaurant itself is... More

The cocktails are delicious. A wide variety can be found in the menu. The bar has a pub atmosphere - very cosy. Food is served too but I haven't tried it yet. Perfect place to go with friends to sit together on a nice cosy evening with delicious drinks. Staff is very friendly -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- Sehr leckere Cocktails in einer gemütlichen... More

We came across this by accident and it was a great find! we were greeted by a lovely man who asked us where we would prefer to sit and said the best seat is by the window, so that is where we sat. We were then shown the cocktail list and were told that he could make anything we would... More

We ate here and it was wonderful. We have been in Dublin for a week and this was by far our best meal, and the service was awesome! We really enjoyed it. It was a gem! The hamburgers were incredible. My husband had the steak and he loved it as well. We also loved the atmosphere.

Awesome drinks and apps... A mixology place with tons of fancy tricks, so sit at the bar to watch - worth stopping at! A cute, laid back vibe. I had the key lime pie meringue martini... A drink and dessert all in one!

Cold steaks that had obviously been sitting out for awhile, when explained to waitress, was told that a medium steak should come out cold (??).
