The place brags about it's steaks so we came to try but never again - its basically an average pub serving average to poor food and certainly for us not a destination restaurant - totally mystified how Bourdain gave it the time of day !

Wonderful cocktails and fantastic food! Had probably the best fish & chips I've ever had, lightly battered but very seasoned. Sticky toffee pudding is a can't miss as well.

A good rule of thumb for me is go where Anthony Bourdain tells you to go. In "The Layover," he said that his meal at The Chophouse was the best meal he'd had in Ireland. So we made it our anniversary dinner. We weren't disappointed. We made reservations in advance and said it was our anniversary, so they gave us... More

It's hard to write about a chop house if you didn't eat steak; however what we did eat was good. Scallop and Pork Belly appetizer was delicious. My friend had the spicy shrimp salad and some oysters. For meals we had Fish and Chips which were fine and a chicken dish which was lovely. We dined on a Sunday night... More

Visited this place to taste some renowned stakes. Ordered sirloin rare, my partner medium. And it met our expectations. Portions matched price value, nicely served. This place really needs pre-booking any time of the day or else you'll get your seats not somewhere too nice. Lovely place to visit any time of the day and good value for quality.

We ate at The Chophouse on a recent stay in Dublin. Chose it on basis of its reviews and it did not disappoint. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere good and the food delicious! We enjoyed the Porterhouse steak and it was well worth the money!

This was our first time here and all the manager and the serving staff went out of their way to make us welcome and to be sure we enjoyed our meal. The steak and sides were superb and the wine selection good. We will be back again!

Lunch was fabulous. Had steak sandwich and open faced goat cheese. Server excellent. Will come back for sure. The steaks are very tender and lots of flavor.

Thank Mark C
