It was on my list of places to try while visiting. I walked here in a Sunday night. Note they that are only open until 8pm on Sundays. It was pretty full and they only had one space left for a party of which I gladly took. The bartender came over and explained things to me. I asked for a... More

This was the most delicious food our of trip. Shared the chicken & foie gras pate with a fruit compote. So creamy and piquant. Mmmm. THen I had their burger - the BEST I have had in ages! Thick, juicy, seared on outside, well seasoned on a brioche bun. My husband loved their steak. We shared the apple cake with... More

Starters squid for me and prawns for dave I had the nicest piece of cod to follow. The last time I had such a fresh piece of fish was in Fishy Fishy in... More

Whenever I am in Dublin (a half a dozen times a year) I make it a point to stop at the Chop House. I LOVE this restaurant. I stopped here the first time after seeing a segment on Anthony Bourdain's, No Reservations. I liked the interview with the owners, Kevin Arundel and his wife, and I liked what they were... More

Had a lovely meal. Starters were good size and tasted great. Mains again were good size, well presented and tasted great. Fish was very well cooked and fresh. Staff were excellent. Attentive and friendly, couldn't recommend this restaurant more!

First time visit during mid week for dinner...hadn't come across this restaurant despite being in Dublin since May 2016, so a really good find esp as it's not in the City centre- a 10min cab ride out towards Lansdowne Road area. Food doesn't disappoint & was excellent- they're even coma around with the tray of meat to tempt you into... More

Hosted a business dinner here for some American clients, in fact from Texas. So bit if a risk taking them to a stake house but we had heard great things. It more than lived up to its billing. Great service steak was too quality and the Guinness was spot on.
