Pichet - Still a Favourite

We've been going to Pichet, occasionally, almost since it opened. I noted some reviewers had been let down so I was a little worried that standards had slipped. My worrying was unnecessary, our meal was as good as any we've had here. The scallops with short rib is a classic starter which sets the... read more

Back for lunch after a break. Seated in cold terrace, promised heating, not turned on. Long delay between starter and mains. Asked for cider or beer to go with the pork and sauerkraut mains, beer only available. Brought chicken instead of pork !! Waiter apologised for noting the wrong order, despite the discussion around the drink. Food good but attention... More

My boyfriend picked this restaurant for my birthday dinner and I have to say food was absolutely beautiful, every mouthful was just delicious. We were very well looked after, I got a "happy birthday" plate which is always a nice touch. I was also offered complimentary glass of elderflower due to the fact I was heavily pregnant and couldn't allow... More

I went here about 6 years ago and I enjoyed it. The Hostess was very friendly. Our waiter was very professional. We were still on time for the early-bird. My Husband had Smoked Haddock Beigneit. He said it was very good.My Husband had the pork chops for his main course. I had the chicken.I don't think I ever had nicer chicken. It was... More

Was hovering between 3 and 4 stars..... The food merited 4, the service 3. We went for dinner. There just wasn't a great atmosphere in this restaurant. Service was transactional and slow without anyone making an effort to be friendly. I think that set the tone for the evening. I thought the food sounded better on the menu than it... More

I had really been looking forward to my trip to Pichet and sadly it wasn't all I had hoped for. There were 6 of us and when we arrived we were left standing in the middle of the restaurant until someone showed us to our table out the back of the restaurant. The waitress asked us if we wanted to... More

Lovely place in the city center with nice decor and super busy . Service was fine but found my monkfish too bland as well aS the brocoli. Taste was inexistent Wich I found quite weird as it came with an alioli ... Maybe my choice was not the best .

This is my 7th or 8th time eating at pichet. Absolutely flawless every time. The food is always good, but it's the service that makes this place stand out. The people working the floor are exceptional.

You can't go wrong with the early bird special that Pichet offer its available up to 6.30pm. The menu choices are limited obviously but the selection is really good and varied. We ordered the same main starter and mains the artichoke risotto starter was gorgeous really good taste. The main course ordered was chicken breast with a range accompanying vegetables.... More

Hosted a lunch for 21 people using Pichet's Prix Fixee menu last saturday. A very noisy family gathering which Giorgio and the staff rose to the challenge of with aplomb. The reservation process went really well and they were more than willing to accomodate the ever increasing numbers of guests. Lunch menu was first class with a really good selection... More
