Myself and my partner had a beautiful evening in Marcos. Food was absolutely fantastic, the music was lovely and our server Tharyn really made our evening! She was wonderful at accommodating dietary needs and we even got into a great conversation on a shared love of Brazilian music. Thanks for the suggestions! 🎶

The dining experience was exceptional from start to finish. The pumpkin risotto was a standout, offering a perfect balance of intriguing flavors and textures that captivated the palate. The Chateaubriand, designed to be shared, was expertly grilled to medium-rare perfection and presented with an eye-catching, mouthwatering display. Accompanying the dish were wonderfully crispy beef dripping chips, which added an indulgent touch.
The maple syrup-roasted vegetables were another highlight, seasoned impeccably to enhance their natural flavors. For dessert, the offerings exceeded expectations; the crème brûlée was silky and rich, while the light and refreshing Eton Mess provided a delightful contrast. These were paired beautifully with caramel espresso martinis, a perfect way to conclude the meal.
The ambiance was warm, welcoming, and inviting, creating an atmosphere ideal for a memorable dining experience. Agi were attentive, professional, and ensured that every detail was catered to seamlessly.
This establishment has undoubtedly left a lasting impression, and I look forward to returning for another outstanding experience.

My husband and I had a lovely three course meal at the MPW in Dawson Street, Dublin. The food was delicious and the atmoshere chilled and relaxed. The music also really good with a great mix of 80s and 90s tracks. The server was Tharyn, #steakhouse and she was so helpful, attentive and professional, answering our requests for advice on the menu. She is a credit to your company and we will be back soon.

Myself and my girlfriend chose to have our anniversary dinner here at Dawson street and we could not of had a better time. Food from start to finish was top class. Sea food Bisque was amazing and wild mushroom risotto was outstanding. Our server Mallory was attentive and so helpful, she was able to help us pick a wine to complement our dishes perfectly. Mallory is what every restaurant needs, all waiting staff around the county should be trained by Mallory.

What a disappointment. I’ve been a fan of Marco for a long time and had stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a nice, tasty steak restaurant.
Empty aperitif glasses were left on the table the whole time, had to check in our wine ourselves, asked several times behind water and all steaks were cold.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience, especially given your admiration for Marco’s establishments in the past. It’s clear we fell short of the standards you were expecting and deserve, and for that, I sincerely apologize.
It’s unacceptable that empty glasses were left on your table and that you had to repeatedly ask for water. Attentive and seamless service is what we strive to deliver and I’ll be addressing this with our team immediately to ensure no guest feels overlooked in the future.
I’m equally disheartened to hear that your steaks were served cold. A perfectly prepared and warm steak is at the heart of the dining experience we aim to deliver, and I’ll be reviewing this with our kitchen team to prevent such lapses.
Thank you again for bringing these issues to our attention. Your feedback is invaluable as we work to improve every aspect of our service. We do hope you choose to dine with us in the future and get to experience our usual high standard of service.

I had looked forward to this place after Two months of Pre booking. To turn up tonight to be offered only the festive menu, was slightly disappointing after not being informed.
Service is good, but drinks are very mediocre for the price, Not worth the money. We were initially took in by the Butterscotch Martini, but this was of no substantial significance.
Food was nice but that’s all it was, nothing special. I’ve eaten out of many different establishments worldwide for less money and had far better food. Did not expect this from MPW restaurant but there you have it. For the record, I’m in no way a food snob etc but I know what good quality food / portions are , and this just didn’t seem to live up to the reviews.
Although we wanted a starter, upon looking at the prawn Marie Rose portion size being served it did not merit £18.00 Euro, Two bites and it’s gone is not my idea of good quality / Portions.
Fillet steak was cooked perfect but lacked seasoning and chargrill flavour , Chips were nice but not enough, peppercorn sauce was lovely & light but again lacked size. For £43.00 euro I feel you don’t value the customer, it’s more of the theatre and location.

This restaurant has been an absolute favourite for so many years. Every meal was a treat and memorable. Sadly not so now. The menu is limited which is fine as we were going for steaks. Steaks were good but not mouth watering and prices do not include your sauce choice or any sides. The chips were delicious. Deserts okay but not wonderful, we had crème brûlée and tarte tatin. So overall I would say okay but not amazing as they used to be. Staff friendly and attentive. We will try somewhere else next time.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We truly appreciate you being a loyal guest over the years, and we're so sorry to hear that your recent visit didn't meet the high expectations you’ve come to associate with us.
While we’re glad you found the steaks and chips enjoyable and that our team provided friendly, attentive service, we’re disappointed to learn that the overall experience fell short of being the memorable treat you’ve come to expect. Your feedback on the menu offerings and desserts is invaluable, and we’ll be sure to share your comments with our kitchen team to see how we can improve and bring back the wow-factor you remember.
We do hope you will give us another try in the future.

My girlfriend and I came over here from Oregon USA and were planning the trip for nearly a year. This restaurant was definitely on our to do list so I had high expectations and our waiter Charlie exceeded every expectation along with the very talented chefs. The ribeye was the best ribeye of my life and next time I’m in Ireland I will definitely be coming back

For years we ate here; the pork belly was second to none. It was slow cooked overnight, the fat melted and infused into the dish. Large portion, crispy on top and bottom and full of flavour. Breathtaking stuff. First photo is one of those meals. Fast forward to now. You get less than a 1/3 of the serving, it doesn't matter because you won't want to eat this. We tried, we couldn't. If you lazily threw pork belly into an air frier you'd get this, or better. The fat has to be spat out as its inedible, a tiny rubbery crust, absolutely disgusting. I would be embarrassed if I ever cooked something so lackluster. A shameful effort. The sides, wine, staff, location all deserve better than this tripe. I suggest the chef looks at Marco Pierres YouTube video from 15 years ago about how to make Pork Belly

Worst MPW restaurant I've visited. I walked in the restaurant during the afternoon, it was very quiet - only a few tables occupied. I stand there for a couple of minutes, until someone comes to greet me. In the meantime, the manager and the bartender are chatting away a couple of feet away - without acknowledging me. I sit down, and I am given a menu. Nobody comes around for another 10 minutes, and I have to call someone to place an order. I noticed afterwards that there was a special set menu "early bird", which other tables were offered but I wasn't. The fillet steak was overcooked, I've ordered it medium and it came almost well done. Mash potatoes very bland. After I finish eating, my empty plate stands there for another 20 minutes, until I call someone to take it. They take the plate away, but don't bring any desert menu or ask if I want some coffee. I wait another 15 minutes, nobody comes around. At this point I gave up on desert and coffee, I stand up and called the manager asking for the bill. I told him how deplorable the service was, and I left for a nice desert and coffee cross the street at The Ivy.

While we knew it would be expensive, the food was not up to the quality. My steak cost €42 and was cold in seconds due to a cold plate. It also was just put on the plate with gravy over it and didn’t look very well plated. Seine servers were lovely and friendly and some were not.

We come for a late lunch for us which for the restaurant's time was an early bird dinner on a Sunday, so we had two courses of the early bird menu, main and dessert.
My girlfriend chose the pork escalope, which looked like a pork milanese while I went for the steak frites. Both dishes were massive, we struggled to finish them but they were also extraordinarily tasty, far surpassing our expectations. My steak was quite tender, delicious and it came with a sauce with a lot of butter (clearly French style) that was delicious, all it drenched was fantastic.
For dessert we both had chocolate mousse and here I did get a bit disappointed. It tasted good, it was topped with chantilly cream, it was not excessively sweet but... It wasn't a mousse, which is something I've sadly grown to expect in Dublin but I honestly was not expecting it from this restaurant. It was a chocolate cream that lacked the airy texture a mousse should have.
The service was quite good, the waiter was quite friendly and outgoing, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice.
Considering the early bird menu was 40€ per person along both the quality and quantity of the food, the value is fantastic and I don't think it can be topped in this regard. I will surely be back as I've found it to be one of the best restaurants I've been in this town.

Lamb chops were rare on one side and medium on the other, medallions were ordered medium and showed up well done. Halibut was fantastic. Wine selections were spot on. Three hours for dinner resulted in us leaving with one less bottle of wine and no dessert.

Well appointed, central location, maybe a little noisy. Attentive service, quite varied menu, meat and fish offerings and even some vegetarian dishes. Prices in line with local and Dublin
