I went twice for breakfast as it was close to my hotell. Victoria sponge cake was delicious but the cupcake was too sweet. Nice decoration and atmosphere. Tables are very small and they are always packed.

Lemon meringue tart was our favorite. We went back a few days later, and they were out, very sad :-( - They only make so many, so go early.

Their website says they are closed for bank holidays, so I’d say they are closed for Christmas.

I don't think so and you would loose out on the fantastic environment and atmosphere not going into the cafe itself!

Description
A friendly restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and delicious baked goods throughout the day. We have two locations in Dublin City Centre across from Dublin Castle, two minutes apart from each other. Drop in for a homemade scone with raspberry jam and cream, or a seasonal savoury tart.
