This was a charming place to have breakfast. They have outside seating. I found the service to be efficient. The food was delicious, my husband had eggs and I had a bowl of oatmeal. The coffee was also excellent, late and americano!

The cafe relies on its reputation for cakes and coffee. However, when you visit it is not as good as you would expect or indeed hope.

We had just landed in Dublin and were searching for a spot to have breakfast and just relax prior to getting into the apartment we were staying in. Our host had recommended Queen of Tarts and he did not steer us wrong. We got there shortly after it opened, large suitcases and all and they warmly welcomed us and were... More

Good food, but a very small place. We had lunch there. Service was ok. Reasonable prices. Conveniently located across from Dublin Castle.

Queen of Tarts is my guilty pleasure on so many levels: the venue is very pretty, the staff lovely, & the food is beyond delicious (I'm still not over the chocolate chips scones!) & freshly made. I could go there every day & it's so hard not to stop by when I go to town! For those of you who... More

This is one of the best cafes in town. The range of pastries and sweets is amazing! I tried here the best baileys cheesecake of my life. Totally recommend this place and can't wait to come back!

Queen of Tarts: a gorgeous little place for a cuppa tea and the most amazing scones, tarts, crumbles and pastries you'll come across. Highly recommended if you are in Dublin.

The Queen of Tarts had great food, great service, and the best water I've ever had! We wandered into the cute little place because of its gorgeous red store front and sweet name. Turns out, I'm really happy we did, and will definately go there if I get another chance!

After seeing Dublin Castle and the Chester Beatty Library, we spotted the signature red trim across the street and decided we'd just "check out the menu", which means we caught one whiff of their cakes and were totally convinced mid-day dessert was an amazing idea. Apparently they actually have two locations since the business has grown in popularity so much,... More
