We called into the Halfway House after a family trip to Dublin Zoo and I thought it was fantastic. We had a mixed group of adults and children, some wanting a meal, others just wanting a coffee and everyone left more than satisfied. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming and the food was all warm, tasty and were good sized... More

My family and I were in this place four years ago and we had Sunday roast at that time. Yesterday, we were passing by this place and decided to pop in to have their delicious carvery. Omg, it's the best place ever for carvery and Irish food!!! Their prices are also really good! Please do not change them. I strongly... More

Traditional looking and feeling pub which is perfect for family gatherings. The food is good, you get plenty, including a dessert. Lots of drinks to choose from and the staff were lovely.

Over the past 2 months, I've had dinner here from the bar menu. Their carvery is the best around but I was very pleasantly surprised at the variety of the bar menu & its served until 11pm! Great food, very good value & staff always v friendly & chatty... Ideal for couples, groups, social/footie events. Nothing like a few beers... More

Had a great meal served by some very courteous staff. The bar staff were also very friendly. There seems to be a good mix of customers, young, old and families. Great choice of beer, wine and lager

10 of us on a stag weekend. Bar staff are very friendly. Made very welcome. Good range of drinks on offer. Breakfast 7.30 till 11.30am. Also a carvery. If you like your sport you can watch 2 football games and darts at the same time but lots of quiet places if you are not that interested. Well worth a visit.... More

This is one pub in Dublin that is a timeless classic! Food is amazing and wonderful quality and good prices. Weekends can become very busy but shows how good of a pub/restaurant it actually is. The interior decor is beautiful and just a lovely place to unwind and be with family.
