We enjoyed a family dinner at this restaurant where the food is well prepared and the dishes are made with locally sourced produce, meat and fish. Service is wonderful, great atmosphere which made for a very nice evening.

THE best meal we had while visiting Ireland. Hands down the best salmon I've ever eaten. We were going to try the early-dinner option, which was a 3 course meal for €28-ish...but when we saw all of the other amazing options, we chose from their regular menu. We had great service & delicious food...truly a memorable meal.

I can't believe it's three years since I was last in The Pig's Ear! Gina and I were on a course nearby so this restaurant was a very convenient choice. We had tried to organise a bigger group for the meal but to no avail. Gina made the booking for a slightly later time and for a larger number but... More

My wife and I never visit Dublin without having dinner at The Pigs Ear (sometimes twice). Each and every time we have dinner at this restaurant we are just as blown away as the first time back in 2012. The food is cooked and presented perfectly and the staff is always generous and friendly. Most of all, the restaurant itself... More

We were looking forward to the meal last night as it was a while since we were here. A bit disappointing as one of the main course, the duck, was very small. Looked like 1 breast between 2 people. In general staff were a bit indifferent. Maybe a bad night.

Went there on Tuesday night for a meal with some colleagues. Food was ok, but here are the things that make the resturant only average. 1.Waiting staff that carry an air of studied boredom, and act as if you owe them a favour for gracing your table with their presence. Honourable exception the young waitress who smiled and engaged with... More

Went for the early dinner menu and it was just perfect. Not only that the meal was delicious and each course was beautifully presented.

We dined at The Pig's Ear twice and would definitely go back. Food and wine were great. The dining room holds about 35 people comfortably and has a pleasant atmosphere. It is on the second floor, so you need to be able to make the climb. Great location near Stephen's Green.

Good food with interesting combos and nicely presented. Quick service but perhaps not the friendliest ever.. a slightly stressed feeling very quick to clear table and asking often if we wanted dessert when we even haven't had time to look at the menu. Good food but needs some work on service level :) but still recommended

Took a chance on this restaurant after seeing some online reviews and so glad we did. After a walk around Trinity College next door, this was right across the road. The food was delicious! I'm not vegetarian but the roasted butternut squash with nuts, seeds and pear sauce... mmmm. I'm still thinking about it two weeks later. Definitely worth a... More
