We lucked out in getting a reservation last minute. Everything here is amazing -- even the bread. I had a pork dish that was succulent. The waiter recommended a wine that was very good. By the end, we were stuffed and happy.

Went there on New Year's Eve for the tasting menu. The food was excellent, such fabulous tastes and textures you felt like Greg Wallace from Masterchef. Staff really nice and ambience great. Will definitely be back.

new years eve dinner party in a windy room (window could not be closed) with no atmosphere, very disappointing service, food was tasteless, over priced drinks and drinks measures questionable. staff was obviously in a hurry to close the restaurant.

The first and only time we ate at Pig's Ear was New Year's Eve so I'm not sure how it compares during normal service. The food was really good and the service attentive. They only offered a 6-course tasting that evening and we also did the wine pairing along with it. We sat on the 1st floor looking out the... More

What a surprising experience: unconventionnally dishes greatly cooked. If you want to eat something different than steaks or Pizza, this is the right adress! Modern food based on traditionnal irish dishes. When you are in Dublin, this is the place to visite. Plus if you are sitting by window, you have a great view on Trinity College. The food is... More

A group of 14 of us had the set menu on Saturday night. The food and service was 5 star. The staff were excellent and polite and nothing was an issue. The food was divine. My jacket went missing and the manager dealt with this superbly managing my frustration and the situation in a professional manner. I highly recommend The... More

Liked this place from the very start. Up a couple flights of stairs to a bright, open and warm dining room. The separate rooms gave the place intimacy and the windows made it bright - even in grey Dublin. Was a little concerned that the two course lunch would leave me hungry, but it was plenty. Tasted the Mourne's Crab... More

Visited The Pig"s Ear earlier in the week (it"s up the stairs just beside Kilkenny Design & you can't miss the fabulous pink door). I have been here a number occasions for lunch & it never disappoints, even in the mad busy Christmas rush. A table for two overlooking the grounds in Trinity on a wet & cold winter's day... More

Great food and super restaurant. However i didn't like waitress scraping plates from one to another open collecting from the table after main course. Bit canteen like☹️. Overall super food and nice service.

This is a 5 story restaurant, with a different room on each half floor a really unique setting you'd not normally find in the states. The food was local, but I'd say "Fancy local"- the venison was the best I've ever had in my life (and I'm from the midwest where a lot of venison can be found!) The only... More
