Still my favorite place to eat in Dublin. Butcher grill is nice and I was a bit disappointed by some other famous restaurants but this is the place to be :)

The week before our trip to Ireland, I encountered Pig's Ear on a travel show. As we were waking down the street, I recognized the pink door and had to stop. We happened to be staring at the menu 4 minutes before it opened and were lucky enough to get their last table if we were to eat right away.... More

I stumbled upon this restaurant while shopping on Nassau St. with a friend. We were disappointed to find out that they were fully booked for lunch! I was so taken with the place that I called to make a reservation for lunch as soon as I could and I did not regret it. The staff were wonderful and the food... More

I was able to get a walk in table on a Saturday night at 8, but just barely. I am glad I did. The lamb was perfectly cooked, service was excellent, and the restaurant was tastefully decorated. Aside from some warning of the pits in the cherries in my dessert, I cannot think of a way the meal could have... More

We were just walking around Dublin looking for a place to have dinner and just walked into this place. We were lucky to get a table because the place is busy and most people had reservations. The food was very tasty and presentation was impressive. The portions are small especially when it comes to the appetizers but the taste makes... More

We really enjoyed our dinner at The Pig's Ear--the food is very good and the setting overlooking parklands is beautiful. The summer squash soup is excellent! However, I thought the service was sloppy--maybe they were just having a bad night? Our waiter just wasn't helpful at all. This is a very good restaurant overall, with excellent Irish cuisine, but not... More

Our family of 4 had an amazing dinner at Pig's Ear. The food, wine and service was impeccable. Was a fantastic way to end our European vacation.

An early evening meal while visiting Dublin. We did make advance reservations via email. My partner chose the fixed price menu--the beef tar tar was amazing. The pork was also very good. I chose from the a la cart menu, per our server's recommendations. The crab starter was light and delicious. The duck fat potatoes were fabulous. But the star... More

Excellent food in a great location. Up a flight of stairs, right next to Trinity College. Very innovative menu, reasonably priced.

Iv been here four times and always enjoyed the dining experience. My business lunch was for two people and it was a perfect match of service, food and ambiance. The food choice is very good, it's beautifully presented and expertly cooked. The waiters are knowledgeable , professional and friendly greatly adding to the experience.
