Great Pub, excellent food with friendly bar staff. Pub is close to DCU and Shelbourne Fc, prices are reasonable, Guinness isxaz good as it gets. Well worth a visit.

Met with a colleague here, found the place a bit intimidating to be honest, a bit 'local pub' with the locals all turning to see the strangers, and to be fair, I don't think my northern accent helped, but maybe just my paranoia

Cat And The Cage has incredibly good food. My wife and I liked it so much. We ate there 3 times. We were only in Dublin for 7 days. Their fish & chips were delicious. Their bangers and mash really good too.

First licensed in 1690, The Cat & Cage is located in the heart of Drumcondra and is Dublin’s newest ‘Gastro-Pub’. Our aim is to provide outstanding seasonal food and great service while retaining a traditional pub atmosphere. Our extensive selection of menu's cater for a wide range of tastes with classic Irish and European inspired creations with a satisfying accompanying craft beer and wine list.
