I went with friends after a comedy gig. Being a fan of craft beers there was a lot to choose from. It was also the first bar I've ever been to where the bartender made recommendations baled on what we were drinking. Very impressed. Would go again.

I go to Solas quite a bit as I love the atmosphere there with great music and amazing cocktails. The staff are very friendly. My favorite cocktail ? Espresso Martini ! Ohhh Yeah !! Garrett

My friend had booked the upstairs room in Solas Bar last night for her birthday. The night started out well but was utterly ruined by an obnoxiously rude barman who was utterly incapable of speaking to customers with any level of civility. I bought a vodka and tonic and brought them to my table - it was at this point... More

I frequent this bar, its very cosy, nice music and their white russian never disappoints. I have had food too- not the best but OK for the price. The staff are really friendly except one very grumpy waitress.

Went here on Saturday & they had ran out of prosecco & they were very rude about it (we were a group of 14) but the bar itself seems nice, good layout etc

I was upstairs it was crowded and loud. The bar man and the waitress really efficient, courteous and helpful. I do not drink alcool so sometime it is not easy to have a nice drink! I had a really good Ginger All and a virgin Ceasar. I ate fried calmar and spring rolls, it's was good and greasy! Really nice... More

Horrible service. Bar staff was VERY stupid & rude. On Feb 7th the bar was quite empty while the 6 Nations Rugby match was on (France vs Scotland). After a dinner some where else, a friend, my wife & myself decided to have a Hot whisky and Irish coffee in a pub instead of going to a normal coffee place.... More

Never expected the bar staff to be so rude....specially at 18:00 with bar not busy at all. I asked for a hot whiskey for my friend and a Bailey's coffee (as I felt like having coffee) and the bar attender got angry with me because she had to make thr coffee. She started to complain very loud with me as... More

Popped in here during the past week when it was quiet, didn't know what to expect at first but I was pleasantly surprised. The place to me at first looked more like a bar based business than a food establishment, but we gave it a go. The the menu was varied, uncomplicated and very reasonably priced. Service was friendly and... More
