Decided to go hear for lunch after hearing such good reviews about the place.Never again! When we went to the ballroom to take our table we found the atmosphere very impersonal. We were quickly told how the Carvery worked and brought some soup which was just ok, not homemade but mass produced. The choice for starters was not great. When we went for the... Second night of our stay we arranged to eat in the restaurant at Harveys point. The menu was good, innovative coming from a place of love for good ingredients prepared with intelligence and panache. The service was excellent just attentive enough without being intrusive. Awards are well deserved and i would recommend this restaurant without a doubt.

Sunday Brunch is a must. It was about £250 for 6 with a fair few drinks but it is worth every penny. Have a fruit salad for breakfast and just don't eat for 4hrs before you go so you have some vague chance of eating the things that take your fancy. Only criticism was that the dining area on the... Harvey's Was a recommendation by a friend. The local was very nice- the food was good. We were there out of season so work outside blocked any views. Our dinner took a while as we were between shifts and our food got delivered to wrong table. We were in no hurry so it worked out ok. Food was good and... More
