We were recommended to eat in this place. We were greeted warmly by the staff and despite not having booked, we were offered a table. The menu had little choice for vegetarians ,therefore the meal of choice was hake and chips. Given the delightful surroundings and the linen napkins etc the fish was delicious but the frozen chips were a... More

We were looking for a relaxing place to have a meal and we certainly found it. The girl on the reception was very friendly and escorted us to a window table overlooking the Diamond. The menu was varied and we decided to have two starters each rather than main courses. My husband had the best half rack of ribs that's... More

Friendly service in a smart room. The menu is varied and the food of good quality. I had chicken skewers with a chilli sauce and my partner had lamb shank, both delicious.

We had an eye on the place the day before but wanted to wait to my birthday to make it special:-) and it was!! We were sitted at the wrong table at first, as there was a booking and the waitress didn't realise. However we were moved to another one soon by a manager, who was very apologetic. The meal... More

Plenty of restaurants to choose from in Donegal Town but this is still my first choice. Can't remember ever being disappointed with a meal/service etc here. Shown to a lovely table by Anne who advised of the speciality gins that where available. I'm not a gin drinker but on her recommendation I agreed and Three gins later I'm now a... More

Despite being a very busy hotel on festival weekend, we were welcomed by the hostess with the mostess (young lady with glasses & blond hair) and invited to a lovely cozy table. The menu choice was so good & reasonable that it was difficult to make a selection as everything was so good. We had a great aperitif of bread.... More

After reading such great reviews I had high expectations. Unfortunately they weren't all met. Waitress was just plain slow. Never refilled or offered to refill our water bottle. My husband wasn't thrilled to get mostly fried seafood on his mixed platter. My cod was excellent but side salad was a big disappointment with only olive oil and basic no flavor... More

We dropped in this restaurant without booking on a random Sunday evening whilst passing through Donegal. We were so glad we did. The layout is great with nice ambience and lighting. Staff great, food superb and prices very competitive. Really enjoyed our dining experience and would confidently recommend this restaurant to others
