The restaurant was recommended to us by our host at the b&b we were staying at (we also got a coupon, and who doesn't love those?). It was easy to find, parking was right there, and it was large with plenty of seats. My husband had the salmon, and said it was the best salmon he has had. I had... More

We had dinner here and were very happy to get a seat with a view of the water. The Irish stew was out of this world and the atmosphere was perfect- relaxed (not stuffy). The prices were reasonable for the location. Look the menu up ahead of time online, if available. We thought it was fairly priced.

Soup was definitely packet soup. BLT swimming in fat from the bacon! I never return food or complain but this was rotten.

You can sit upstairs, enjoy the bay, or watch the lively pub action downstairs, or eat in the pub where the action is. Either way, you will enjoy a variety of dishes and a service from staff that enjoy what they do.

We ate on the second floor overlooking Donegal Bay. While I wish we would have been able to sit closer to the windows, we still had a nice view. The service was great and the food was amazing! I had some fish & chips (mushy peas delish!), while my husband had a surf & turf. My fish was HUGE and... More

While in Donegal we decided to have our evening meal at Doms Pier 1. We were greeted by very friendly staff who offered us a lovely table with a great view of the bay. I ordered Hake with prawn cream which came with garlic potatoes and other vegetables. This was a great choice as the meal was really delicious. I... More

What a disaster. I ordered a vegetarian meal and got chips with it that were fried together with meat. It was meant to be enchiladas but had nothing to do with mexican food. The filling was mushrooms, carrots, leek...all tasted like defrosted veggie mix. I wouldnt mind the 'fusion' if it was tasty but it was gross. The sauce looked... More

We were invited here by our newly married daughter & hubby. The view was lovely, and the meals were served very quickly. We all tucked in to our various dishes, each of us thoroughly enjoying it. Plenty of food there and all too full for a dessert (shame)! Would love to eat here again when we visit Donegal.

We ate at Dom's on the first night of a trip to the west of Ireland, and it didn't disappoint two tired travelers. My husband and I each had seafood entrees, which were delicious and interestingly prepared, preceded by heavenly brown bread and accompanied by Atlantic amber ale from the Donegal Brewing Co -- thumbs up for those also. We... More
