What a gem ! This cosy spot in the Craft village on the outskirts of Donegal town, offers what some might say a limited menu, but the range will more than satisfy any palate one of us had the risotto with sea bream and it was perfection while the other had a caesar chicken salad, and raved about it, while... Go there now and then and it is always nice. The manager is one of the nicest people ever and the ceasar salad, cakes and bread are gorgeous.

7 of us visited here for lunch and enjoyed great food, great service and a bit of friendly banter. I have eaten here a number of times and the food is always fresh and delicious. The owner served us he was really attentive and we enjoyed the little extra dessert he have us to sample. We will be back😀

After a delicious bowl of pumpkin soup, I decided that I could probably force myself to have a piece of cake. Staff told me their favourites - but said the Tunisian Orange cake was 'what they were famous for'! Decided to give it a go - absolutely delicious! Really moist, with a hint of spice - and beautifully presented. My... More

Stopped in for coffee as a break during a journey. Excellent coffee and superb home cooked cake range. Although we didn't have a meal we did see other people eating and it all looked superb - clearly used by locals on a regular basis which is always a good sign.

Popped in on our way back to our short break cottage near Ballyshannon. Thoroughly enjoyed our cake choices and the coffee is lovely. We were so taken with the place that we returned the next day for lunch : 2 sea bass risottos and the pasta special. Bought a loaf of the highly recommended Tom's brown bread & the Tunisian... More

Oh the cakes!!!!! lovely place to go: I travel quite a few miles at least once a year just to go there. Food is very good but the home made cakes are quite exceptional. It is a friendly and unassuming place situated in an arts and craft village. well worth a visit

Many people have recommended this to me - but for one reason or another I have never made it here. In fact havent been to the craft village since 1985 when it first opened- it is much smaller than I imagined! It is an extremely popular cafe - queued to get a table - but very worth it! Great fresh,... More

I go to Donegal about once a year and I NEVER miss a visit to Aroma. The sea bass risotto followed by a slice of chocolate nemesis cake is one of my favourite meals full stop. Always perfectly cooked, served by friendly staff and an owner who takes great pride in his product. Aroma is a hidden gem and if... More
