We chose 8 oz rib-eye steak from the early dinner special menu. The steak was very tasty and prepared as ordered . Overall we were please with the meal . There was a 5E up-charge which had been disclosed but we had overlooked. Portion size would not have satisfied young hungry men. Service, presentation of the cuisine and ambiance were... More

We went there friday night with a group of friends. Nice place, cozy, nice and friendly service. We ordered many tapas but unfortunately for us the portion were tiny - I got a board cheese - normally in any other place serving board cheese you get some nice selection of local cheese. In Jacques the portion was very small though... More

Went to Jacques while on vacation in the area based on the positive trip advisor ratings. Unfortunately found that it did not live up to the hype, as we found the food to be rather average (poorly cleaned quail, for example), the service to be rushed and disinterested, and the general ambience to be pretty ordinary. Many better options in... More

This was one of the best meals we had in 8 days in Ireland. We were especially impressed with the fish/chips and (hard to believe) the mashy peas. Friendly service. Small place in the midst of the bustle of Plunkett street.

Went in as the tapas menu looked awesome, unfortunately it is only on Thursday through Saturday. Opted for a selection of starters and desert which were very good. Scallops especially. Wine was good and the staff were very helpful. Nice little bar area at the front where you can eat also. Good spot to go.

Visited this restaurant during our stay in Cork. There are two areas in the restaurant, one for Tapas and one for Irish, European food. I decided to go with the Rabbit for a change and it was cooked to perfection. Good selection of dishes and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall a very enjoyable dinning experience.

Jacques have an amazing Tapas Bar attached to the beautiful Restaurant. A huge variety of tapas- meat , fish and vegetarian, Well worth a visit. No booking But they will take your name and call you - usually a 10 or 15 minute wait, but worth the wait.

Had lunch in Jacques last week and my only regret is that it is not closer to where I live. Jacques has been running now for an incredible 36 years and I have eaten there when ever I could for about 30 of those years. The standard has never slipped and Jacques and Eithne have not only stood the test... More

OMG, have you tried their slated caramel chocolate cake? HEAVEN! I love that they do tapas, too. A recommendation. Small place, not always easy to get a reservation, but worth it! the candles really set the mood, as well! Just their opening times kinda suck sometimes. But otherwise... Go!
