I was very disappointed at a recent visit here. Having read lots of good reviews, I was expecting great things. We were a large group, and maybe they just couldn't cope with big numbers. The service was erratic, with half of the table served long before the rest, with food going cold while they waited. Meat eaters were happy, fish... More

I always enjoy dining here though there are perhaps one or two points of the menu that need work. To start with my partner had the mushroom soup, which was delicious and seasonal. I had the pasta with chicken and rocket; the pasta unfortunately was slightly overcooked while the chicken seemed to have a rather strange texture. My partner then... More

Although not out of the way, this restaurant is located in a spot where it is not easily noticed. We only found it because another very popular restaurant we wanted to eat at was so full that they directed us just down a couple of blocks to Fenn's Quay. Tucked into a pretty little storefront, this restaurant had excellent food... More

Absolutely gorgeous midweek breakfast of freshly a baked brown scone here, my mum had a delicious bowl of really flavourful, perfectly prepared porridge. Free refills on coffee and very attentive and polite service, second to none, highly recommended.

Our dinner was pre arranged by our tour company, Wylde Irish Tours, but we had several choices of menu. Food and service was great!

Visited Fenn ' s Quay restaurant recently for the first time and it certainly lived up to all that I had heard about it. The restaurant from the outside doesn't look great and inside is quite basic nothing flash but cosy and comfortable and packed out on the Saturday night that we visited. We had booked in advance and had... More

Embarrassing to say how many times I've eaten here but suffice to say never had a morsel here that I didn't enjoy! Fab bread, biscuits and the olde reliable chicken salad!

My wife and I had dinner here last Saturday evening. We ate from the a la carte menu but when the bill came half of the bill was charged as the early bird as by coincidence my wife's meal was on the early bird menu, this was nice and honest. The food was delicious however the starters are expensively priced.... More
