Really enjoyed eating here, the food for the four of us was excellent. We all ordered different dishes and were sharing as everything was so nice. Will definitely go again soon.

This is one of my favourite spots for fine dining and beautiful wine. French influence and an absolute must to visit. Lovely friendly staff.

Having read the reviews of this place, we felt we must try and have a meal here. Because of its popularity we did not expect to get in without a reservation, but we tried, more in hope than anything else. We were extremely lucky. Some people had booked for four, and had not turned up, so we got in on... More

We really enjoyed a recent family dinner in this lovely restaurant- delicious tomato&fennel soup, chowder; excellent steaks; monkfish perfect. I had a vegetarian stuffed courgette & pepper dish which was imaginative and tasty. Excellent coffee and well- executed desserts, efficient service. We didn't have wine- water constantly replenished. The only quibbles are a rather small main course selection, and a... More

Star Anis is simply one of Corks hidden gems, located on Bridge St, away from the city centre, just over the bridge, what a food fest to be had, on a Tuesday night, the restaurant was busy,

We had the three course early bird menu and each dish we had was delicious and very well presented. Of the six dishes between us it was impossible to... More

Recently visited this restaurant on a Saturday night. Had never been here before and was so impressed. Myself and my partner both had quail to start, delish. It came with white beans which we didn't care for but that was our own taste. For main my partner had the duck while I had the pork. Both very well cooked and... More
