Myself and my partner ate here recently on a night out in cork town and it agaij proved to be great value for money Plenty of deals and offers on both food and drink including the 2 course menu for 16 euro The pizza here is surprizingly good it comes with a thin base and tastes very nice Great deserts... Great food and friendly staff, though loud music and general noise from a club upstairs took away from the atmosphere.

It's been our mission to visit all 3 Captain America's restaurants this year and Cork was the last one on the list. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly. It wasn't very busy when we ate here during the week so service was quick. Since it was a quiet lunchtime it didn't have the buzz of the... More

Went to captain Americas on Monday nite with my mum and aunts for dinner. Decided on a change from our usual spot with an unsatisfactory outcome. Started with the combo starter which was a good choice. We ordered the fish and chips, fish was pure batter no fish, had steak which was went to be m/w but came out overcooked... More

I found the food tasty and you were not charged extra for chips. My partner's son is autistic and noise is a problem. The staff had no problem moving us to a quieter location. Family restaurant.

We've been to captain Americas before and it was grand...but tonight just made me decide never to go there again...the food was horrible the meat was way too dry and it was put together very sloppy everything was pouring out of my boyfriends burger, not alone that they couldn't get our drink orders right...also shook a ketchup bottle obviously thinking... I on many occasion have visited captains in town, the staff make the place and the food comes a close second, always feel welcome when I go for food, the cheese garlic bread is unreal and the brownie wins hands down 😀

This is amongst the worst restaurants we have ate in. The burger was as it was there for a week and the lasagna was full of cheese. We asked for a coke and a 7up, what we got was something that looked like it, was in a coke glass but tasted like something out of aldi.(no disrespect to aldi but... More

Would not be my favourite but it is a good choice for large groups or students. Good 2-for-1 with a student discount card.

First visit to Captain Americas, Cork June 24. Party of 5. Chicken Fajita was really fine and everybody else in the group was delighted with their choice. Service was of a high standard and prices were reasonable. We will be back.

Captain Americas brought the original burger to Ireland back in December 1971. Since then it has continued to serve good quality American style food at great value prices. Home to the famous Captain Americas hamburger and mouth watering flame grilled steaks, there is something for everyone on the menu. Captain Americas offers the most attractive lunch deals in town & the early bird menu is a great way to start every night out.

Captain Americas has branches on Grafton St, Blanchardstown and in Cork City. All our restaurants are fully licensed and we have a great selection of cocktails, beers & wines for you to choose from.

Over the years we have collected hundreds of pieces of memorabilia from visiting Irish and international stars such as U2, Colin Farrell, Westlife, Debbie Harry and David Bowie and Green Day. Our memorabilia museum creates a unique and interesting atmosphere in the restaurants.

We take reservations for groups, please look at our bookings page for further information or call us on the number listed below.
