We had a great selection of bbq food and it was top nothch . The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about how the bbq process works and happy to explain. Portion sizes were good and the food was full of flavour. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to cork . Great value for money

The first time me and my boyfriend came here about 2 years ago, we were so impressed with the food, and we’ve come back many times since. Their chicken wings are amazing, and the portions are huge so you won’t go hungry.. it’s also great value for money! Their cocktails are also relatively cheap in comparison to other bars/restaurants in Cork so that’s another plus. I always recommended this restaurant to my friends and family and they’ve never been disappointed either :) it’s super simple and uncomplicated food but I wish there were more restaurants like this in Cork!

We not really foodies but after a long day of visiting numerous tourist attractions in Cork , it was recommended we go to the White Rabbit.
The weather was not that great so we sat inside , it was nice & cosy . We were welcomed at the door & choose a cubicle which easily seated 6 adults. Waiter & waitress attended to us promptly with drinks & mains.
A few of us the pulled pork & my son the beef . The food arrived pretty quickly & the meat was so so soft.
We would have preferred a wider variety of sides but that never took away from the delicious main meal & was worth the recommendation.
Great service , great atmosphere , great food

One of the worse meals I have had in 53yrs of being on this earth.
I ordered the pork burger thing.
I couldn't taste the pork because half a jar of mayonnaise was poured over it. The burger bap disintegrated into a soggy mess, in front of my eyes. The whole thing turned into a tasteless sickening mulch on the plate.
I couldnt see or taste what was on my plate. A disgrace that anyone in a kitchen could see fot to give that out for human consumption. Beans on toast would have tasted 10times better.....
Sorry, but there you are.
I'm not one for usually complaining.
It WAS that bad. 🙄

Myself and 5 friends came to this restaurant around half 7, it was not that busy and the greeter was very nice. We were very excited to have our meals, taking our time to carefully pick out our dishes. All 6 of us ordered from the Chefs Speciality menu, most of which are in brioche buns. When the food came out each of our dishes were stone cold! Some of us were so hungry that we did eat the cold sandwiches but we sent back 2 dishes to be reheated. When these dishes came out the buns were still not toasted, and barely hot. Two sides were forgotten, wrong cocktails were give to us, overall it was a very disappointing experience. Nothing was taken off our bill, we were actually charged for an extra BBQ Beans that we didn't order or receive Very very poor, I have heard great things about this place but this was a dismal experience...

Went here yesterday with a group of a friends (Tuesday 24/10) 7:30pm. Greeted by lovely waitress. I was so excited to eat as the menu was mouth watering! We all ordered food & cocktails! Cocktails were really good! When the food came out it looked so good but unfortunately it was ice cold. We asked to reheat and at that it even came out the same, the bun wasn’t toasted it was luke-warm. It was so disappointing, it felt like the meat was reheated in the microwave we were shy to ask a second time to heat it up. Overall the only hot thing that we enjoyed was the corn on the cob! We were overcharged for an item on our bill that we didn’t order. Overall this was very disappointing as we heard so much about this place. The staff was lovely but food was poor! The service tried to make up for it but didn’t.

This is a bar serving a range of barbecued food and burgers. I found the service, which I believe to be a memorable component of any dining experience to be prompt, friendly and very pleasant.
The food is flavoursome and honest, whilst not really trying to be anything it isn't !! You won't find table cloths or a restaurant vibe / dining experience but you will be well fed and made to feel welcome.
You can either order the various meats with 2 side dishes as my companions did or order the meat alone with whatever extras you wish. There are also a number of burgers on offer.
I ordered the ribs which were nice and pretty meaty, with a side dish of mac & cheese with bacon bits, which I found to be quite pleasant if a little under seasoned, but better that and let the customer season the dish at the table, than to over season it. It was at least loose, as it should be, and not a congealed lump through the pasta being added to the sauce hot, as many establishments in Cork are serving.
My companions order pork belly which was flavoursome albeit that such is served as a number of carved thick slices akin to a very thick rasher rather than the more typical inch thick serving. Another had the pulled pork which he found to be a little dry which is common enough with slow cooked meats.
We had sides of potato salad, red slaw and green salad all of which could have benefited by a little salt as previously discussed.
It was a pleasant experience bolstered by the friendly servers and staff, I would certainly return.

Got brunch here on our last day in Cork. We ordered multiple dishes because the menu looked so good - cheesy brisket croissant, the classic grilled cheese and chocolate chip pancakes. Was not disappointed. Would love to return for dinner sometime.

We visited cork for the weekend and was not sure of where to eat. We booked online and paid a deposit for our space at white rabbit. The food was amazing and the service was great and friendly. We also purchasedsone of their homemade BBQ sauce which is delicious!! Would recommend for anyone looking for some hearty grub!

As the title says the food and staff are amazing here. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and even made us some cocktails that weren't on the menu. As for the food, the nachos are probably the best we've ever had in a restaurant, for mains we had the pulled pork sandwich and the beef brisket sandwich both with a side of potato salad, everything was unreal. Too full for a dessert so we shared a Key Lime Pie and it was DIVINE. Please go you will not be disappointed.

We went to White Rabbit for a late dinner. We are both from North Carolina and have lived in Ireland for a while, and were craving some good barbecue and also heard really great things about the Irish and American whiskey selections! Our servers were fantastic and answered all of our questions about the food and the drinks. The whiskey expert, Thomas, was super knowledgeable about the selection and we had an awesome conversation about how some of the whiskeys were made and also about the history of the restaurant. I had the pulled pork and Mac and cheese, my partner had ribs and corn on the cob, and we split a plate of brisket. Our one note was the the brisket was more like pot roast, but it was honestly delicious. Would definitely recommend and would go back in a heartbeat!

We went here for our Christmas date night.I had the smoked chicken burger and potato salad and my husband had the baby back ribs and a side of potato salad because they had no hot sides only corn on the cob or bbq beans. I potato salad too, I would of perfered a hot side, eg. wedges or chips. Its strange having a hot meal with a cold side. The bb ribs was a very small portion,it was like a starter then a main meal, at €13.95 a meal, we won't be going back. The staff are lovely.

Spicey pulled pork, filling well. I did not intend to have dessert but the super friendly waitress convinced me to try the white chocolate cheesecake. That dessert very very good, so great recommendation by the staff.

Visited restaurant on a busy night. Friendly staff still found a table. Food was absolutely amazing especially tasting plates (we had the ribs and chicken wings). Even the slaws were exceptional All the family gave it a 10/10 and left happy and full. If you’re eating out in Cork would recommend you try the White Rabbit out
