We went for a quick brunch and we get impressed with the old school full of personality decoration. The staff is amazing and the food out of this world. Best scones in the planet (Cherry and Almond scones are... absolutely amazing). Can't wait to come back !! ♥️

This place is a gem!! The cakes are amazing! We had the chocolate brownie and coffee cake which were both to die for. Their sandwiches also looked really good. Fab service with lovely friendly staff. Will definitely be back soon.

Absolutely love this place. The workshop has got it so right, striking the right balance between quality food and atmosphere. Antique surroundings and quirky teapots add the charm and experience. Everything I've tried from the menu has been 10/10. Special mention for the ham and relish sandwich and the caramel squares are the best I've ever had. Staff are brilliant... More

this very beautiful cafe has the best scones in Ireland! the usual menu doesn't show much options, as most of their specials are written on the boards and their cakes are on display. I was there imagining I was having tea with Alice and the Mad Hatter

I just can't say enough about this cafe. The atmosphere is like a home away from home. It is a family run business. Staff are very friendly. The food is delicious. The decor is 70s kitch. The tea sets are China and miss matched. It is also an antique shop, with most items are for sale. The chocolate cake is... More

My wife and I visited here one afternoon. The fire was roaring and the place was packed and full of chat ! But no pressure for the staff - they worked together well and seemed to thrive on the place being so busy. The sandwiches were were full and tasty and the cakes .... oh man, the cakes. The coffee... What a place...... I could go on about it forever. I really wanted to share my experience today with everyone. Myself and my husband so happened to have an afternoon off together so we headed here for lunch this afternoon. What a buzzy atmosphere when we arrived, kids playing outside, feeding the chickens and people sitting outside soaking in the... More

The Workshop is a local family business run by brothers Aiden and David. Our menu is very simple, for breakfast we serve, Organic Porridge with fruit compote, French Toast and Bacon and Scrambled eggs and Bacon. Our Lunch menu consists of gourmet sandwiches, soups, a hot special of the day and our Tapas Salad. If your looking for something sweet you've come to the right place, we have a fantastic selection of desserts available daily. We have a large selection of teas, use fantastic Badger and Dodo coffee, and a variety of specialty drinks from Mochas to Oreo Milkshakes. We try to keep things as local as possible with most of our suppliers found here in Cork. We aspire to echo the service of the good old days and so we serve our tea in vintage fine bone china. We have aslo taken a backwards approach to the phrase "out with the old in with the new" in that you'll find the furniture found within the premises is either Antique, Vintage or Up-cyclyed.
