Myself and a friend visited cork for a 2 day break someone recommended oliver plunketts for food we both ordered the irish stew was disgusting hard vegetables in what could only be described as hot water we only ate the bread very expensive rubbish would not recommend this place to anyone for food band were good thats the only thing... More

Food was great although our waiter was loverly the lady at the front desk wasn't very friendly which is a little disappointing bit apart from that it was great!

I had THE best night!!! Irish bands galore!! Singing traditional and modern music. Atmosphere was electric! You can't get moved! I danced into the night and drank beer and made friends!! Who's name I have no idea but everyone is super friendly!!! Great pub

The Oliver Plunkett is on a quaint pedestrian-only street in Cork. The night I was there, they had live Trad Music upstairs, and I had fun seeing the dancers. Downstairs, they had big screens set up to watch the final Euro 2016 game, with another band setting up to provide music following the game. It's a nice place for music,... More

The food was good...fish and chips...but it came with green baked beans...which were not tasty at all. You have to be somewhat patient as it becomes very busy...but very friendly and helpful servers. However, the music starts at 7 PM every night...and it will not disappoint! We went back twice for that alone! We had a 3 person Irish band... More
