Ate in the restaurant once and had delivery once. The interior of the restaurant is nice, kept traditional. Their food is very overrated unfortunately, in my opinion. Their menu is huge but you will find the same neon red, tasteless sauce in most of their plates. There is nothing in the food I have tried that makes me think: mmh,... More

Been here few times. Food is always tasty and authentic. Staff are always friendly and accomodating. Would recommend for anyone in the mood for nice relaxed meal. Only complaint was it is often far too warm in there.

Was recommended to try here and once we saw the starters it was an instant regret. Satayed chicken skewer was the pick from the menu and sadly the chicken portion was both measly and dry as a bone. Ribs ordered by my companion looked like they had been recently thawed from five to ten year stopover in the arctic and... More

We were on holidays and looking for a Chinese Restaurant. Found Yuan Ming Yuan while visiting the English Market which is just 5 mins away. We ordered 3 dishes and the Tong Po Pork is excellent. We will be back when we are in Cork.

Ask for the special menu that they have for their Chinese clients & experience superb food. The best Chinese in Cork by a country mile!!!!

Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. We had curry chicken, sweet chili beef, mala house special stir fry, and chicken fried rice. Prawn toast and spring rolls for starters. I was the only one who got soup and the hot and sour soup was the best I have ever had - in the world! We nearly went back the next... More

Delicious! Following suggestions on Tripadvisor, we asked for the dim sum menu, which was not handed to us automatically. It seemed quite limited (and some were not available) but there was enough choice to get an idea of the tastes and textures involved. We had one steamed, one deep fried, along with the satay and the smoked chicken strips. Warning!... More

I go there on a regular basis with some friends, or sometimes I get take away. In general it is a lot of fun to be there with a group of friends, but please don't do the usual mistake to order one meal per person and just stick to what you have ordered. The fun comes when you figure out... More

At last an original chinese restaurant with authentic environment and great and delicious dishes! Most of the chinese restaurants have become asian fusion ones, so modernized that have lost the real asian character! I really enjoyed here all dishes we have ordered. Also, i consider very important to underline the unbelievable kindness and great service of the staff! You don't... More
