We were marooned in the area because of flooding in Kinsale and decided to eat at Hurleys. Went into the bar, where there were people eating, asked for the menu and were informed that the kitchen had shut at 8.pm. Not even the offer of...a sandwich. Happy for the owners that they can afford turn away customers on a cold, wet evening, but will not be making a return visit.More

We ate here twice and both times the meals were very good. Typical pub with lots of locals as well as tourists. Parking was fairly easy both nights we went to dinner here. The bartender was also our waiter and was very friendy and accomodating.

We are staying nearby @ the Blue Horizon. We were so glad we found this place! My husband had the soup of the day, carrot soup which he enjoyed. He also enjoyed his Guinness beef pie. I tried it too and it was delicious! I’m...guessing all their savory pies are great because the table next to us tried the chicken, fish and beef pies and they loved them! As for me, I have a dairy allergy and the staff was very considerate and thoughtful. I had a delicious plate of pork chops and veggies. They were moist and delicious!! Highly recommended!More
