My first visit to Marcello's. My brother and his wife have been there on many occasions, as have their children. They rave about the place. Now I know why. Setting great - just off the busy main street in Douglas. Lay out - excellent. Staff...More

A small restaurant with a big menu. We had the best pasta I've had in a while. I got the Spaghetti Carbonara which was amazing. Staff was very attentive.

Service very attentive and friendly, food arrived promptly, Pizzas were OK, main courses were OK. Dessert menu a bit lacking but maybe that's the Italian way. Place looked a bit empty and lacking in athmosphere. Good reviews but lacked a bit of spark for me....More

Dear Sir, your review does not reflect your overall experience, you cannot mark a place that you described well average only because the music was low, maybe another customer asked for the volume to be lowered down? We are busy enough, but cannot be full...More

The staff were lovely, service ok but the food was disappointing. I had the Surf & Turf (without the turf) but my meal consisted mostly of tagliatelle, very little seafood in it.More

The staff were friendly but the food miss the spot. I ordered the lasagne which was mainly ragu and a modest amount of pasta. While the staff were friendly we were waiting for cutlery and the bill and it seemed that possibly they were understaffed....More
