Barry's has been an old favourite for years. Unfortunately, last night was very poor. It wasn't overly busy so no excuse. I ordered a chilli burger. It was served with 2 bun bases rather than a base and a top and was over cooked to the point that it was black with a thick crust all over. On cutting in... More

Fantastic from start to finish. Great restaurant outstanding service. We we a group of 35 for a 4pm Late Lunch / Dinner. The service and helpfulness from the staff was outstanding. Worth a visit to see the Christmas Decorations alone. Well done Barry's from everyone at ARRIS Communications :-)

Was in Barrys on Thursday evening/night for a meal with colleagues. It's been a fair few months if not almost a year since I had been. We had an 18:30 booking and there was a nice crowd already in the bar and a few people in the restaurant. We took our seats and enjoyed a gorgeous meal, our waiter was... More

Just back from dinner in Barry's - what a disappointment. Dinner for 5 booked for 8.30pm and sea bass and fillet steak already off menu. Three of us ordered steak (ribeye/sirloin)- I ordered rare the others were medium and medium/well. My steak arrived and was certainly not rare. Said it to first waiter who shrugged and said he would check... More

Very disappointed over all!! Had booked a table for 8.30! We had arrived at 8.15!!We went to the bar for a drink because our friends got delayed and mentioned this to the staff!! Had told them we were at the bar straight outside the restaurant!! After another few minutes we explained again that our friends are on the way!! Again... More

Called in here yesterday (Sunday ) for lunch with my family. It was all carvery and I didn't know this until we went in. I hate carvery so a bad start. I got a southern fried chicken breast with chips and veg which was only ok taste wise. My husband had roast beef with potatoes and veg. The beef was... More
