An absolute pleasure to go there. Lovely staff. Nothing is too much effort for them. The food is served with a friendly smile and chat. Very well presented and really lovely.

We had dinner here with family and friends while visiting from Canada. The food offerings were absolutely marvellous. Our table ordered many different starters and mains and each was artfully presented and absolutely delicious. The Pork Belly starter was particularly noteworthy as well as the sea food platter. All the mains were excellent, seems you can't go wrong here. The... More

After a first pleasant food experience, I returned to this restaurant, this time, for lunch. I didn't want to get super full so just ordered the Atlantic chowder and a salad with fried cheese... what a mistake for my stomach! The chowder was very hearty with fresh and delicious brown bread. I ordered it because I thought I'd feel hungry... More

They have a three course option where you can choose from about 6 each appetizers, main dishes and desserts. Dinner also comes with 5 types of bread. I ordered lamb and it came with mashed potatoes and mint sauce as well as enormous sides of scalloped potatoes and steamed vegetables. Total cost 27 euros. You could easily share the meal.

We ate at the cafe rather than the restaurant because we wanted a lighter, early dinner, and were very happy with the quality of the food and service.

Lamb chops were tough and chewy ( in Ireland!)You would expect to get at least a passing grade lamb chop but this unfortunately was not the case.

We were visiting our Auntie Gillian from Pembrokeshire in Wales and she took us to her favourite place to eat in Ennis. The staff were very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was amazing.... I had the haddock with pickled vegetables, we also tried the Lamb shank, Salmon and a selection of the desserts.... More

Dined here on the first evening of our Rick Steves' tour. They did a wonderful job of handling our large group. I was very pleased with my choice of lamb shank and all the other comments I heard from the group were very positive.
