We were visiting our Auntie Gillian from Pembrokeshire in Wales and she took us to her favourite place to eat in Ennis. The staff were very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was amazing.... I had the haddock with pickled vegetables, we also tried the Lamb shank, Salmon and a selection of the desserts.... More

Dined here on the first evening of our Rick Steves' tour. They did a wonderful job of handling our large group. I was very pleased with my choice of lamb shank and all the other comments I heard from the group were very positive.

The Town Hall Bistro was recommended to me so I booked in a party of four for dinner. I was not disappointed. The food is undoubtedly very good quality. A lovely quaint restaurant, though at busy times one can be left waiting for a seat as it is a very popular restaurant. Food is good, service is good. Offers normal food and lighter bites. Kids welcome too.

We tried a few others here and there but always returned to the Poet's Bar. Great service, good food, trad sessions in the evening, and a chance to meet travelers and locals alike.

Had a great dinner - staff were warm and fit us in for a leisurely time after a reservation mixup nearby. Had a chance to taste 2 wines before deciding.

Ideally located on the main shopping street. You enter the town hall and you are immediately away from the busy hype. Enjoy a coffee and Danish pastry and have a chitchat.

This was a great dining experience! The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. We enjoyed a variety of local dishes and finished the evening in the attached pub listening to Irish music
