We were out for an early morning drive, seen Ted's and stooped in for brekky. It was a fairly quick line we went through to order, had some traditional breakfast, The coffee was fine, the pancakes were huge, fluffy and tasty and the rest of...the breakfast was good as well. Not cheap, but reasonable.More

Seating and limited parking available. We went for the garlic prawns with free slice of pie. Large portions. Food came out hot. Reasonable price. Lots of choice in pies, cakes and pastries. If you are wanting healthy food, this is not place, food is high...in fats, oils and sugars, including the high fructose corn syrup in pies.More

good food, not just a bakery. The garlic shrimp is my favorite. To me the big draw...pie. The chocolate haupia cream is just one. Check out their webdite

A worthwhile stop just for their pies! Their mix plate is delicious with generous servings! A must stop on the north shore!

We stopped in here mainly to try the pies everyone raves about, but stopped in for a meal as well. It was quite busy, but I can at least understand why. The wait wasn't too bad and service was prompt nonetheless. The lunch plates we...had were great; portions plenty big and prices reasonable. The food tasted great, so no complaints at all. Pies are available in individual slices, so we each got a slice and truly enjoyed our Chocolate Haupia Cream Pie. It was terrific, but I'm also a sucker for chocolate cream pies in general, so I'm perfectly in their target market for this. All in all we'd definitely stop here again, both for meal and/or dessert.More

Would recommend here for breakfast, lunch or just a piece of pie. Staff is friendly and food is ready quick. Definitely will see locals here

My hubby and I came here with another couple for breakfast. It’s a very casual place, which is what we wanted. You go in to order and then wait outside until they call your number. We all shared an apple turnover, which was fantastic. We...were told all of their pastries are great. My hubby then had eggs with corned beef hash and I had an egg sandwich with cheese and Portuguese sausage. Both were very good. Some of our friends like Ted’s so much, they’ve gone their multiple times for breakfast.More

This is a great place to go to get donuts. If there were powdered sugar on the donuts they would taste like NOLA beignets - excellent! We went every morning for donuts and also had breakfast sandwiches a couple times. Also purchased pie which was...very good. Had dinner once which was good but if you go to Ted's, go for the donuts!More

We ate at Ted's for breakfast. Don't let the "bakery" fool you. They have other items, including huge omlets. The breakfast sandwiches are on yummy home made buns. And of course the filled donuts are to die for! You order at the counter and eat...at picnic tables outside. Don't let the crowds fool you, they are very efficient with minimal wait time.More

Sorta a locals favourite along the main highway. Had mixed platter of shrimp and beef. Just OK but macaroni salad and pies were good Not worth the drive but if in the area and like to eat on picnic benches try it out.

I don’t think that I saw vegan options on the menu but I’m not 100%. The 2nd time we went there & they had full blown breakfast/lunch options that I didn’t notice the first time. I’m pretty sure you can Google there menu to... More
