Ted's Bakery is generally considered by locals as one of Oahu's two best bakeries. The other is in Honolulu. Ted's is near Sunset Beach, convenient to the surfers, No surprise, when looking for it, look for the Blue Hawaii Surfer (see Blue Hawaii Surfer sign)--there is a microscopic sign about the blue art identifying Ted's, and a larger one over... We were on a drive to Waemia bay and stopped at Teds for a sandwich we had a BBQ pork and a lamb roll, we declined the chips that they came with, but if we had had we would not have had to eat for days, not to be missed

This was a favorite stop during our North Shore vacation. It's pretty popular so sometimes there's a short wait. Everything we tried was really good. The chocolate croissants are fantastic. Pies-really good. Breakfast w/eggs cooked to order. Try a 2 or 3 meat mixed dinner plate and you get a free piece of pie! Good Prices.

We got egg sandwiches and a blueberry scone. All awesome! Try it out for breakfast then go watch the pros surf Banzai Pipeline down the street.

We always have gone to Ted's when we were at the North Shore. Did so today just to wait 40' for two plates. Food was ok. Given the ample opportunities to get Hawaiian plates and the ability buy Ted's pies in the supermarket we will unlikely soon be back.

This place gets nuts in the morning (over Christmas/New Year) but the service is super efficient and very friendly. Because of the crowds, you may be expected to share a table but everyone is in a good mood because of the food, so not a problem. Wide variety of options, omelettes and breakfast sandwich are strongly recommended.

Stoped by chance ( were on the way to Romy's) and it was the best decision that we made. Garlic shrimps were amazing and the haupia pies were to die for! Still regret not buying an entire pie.

This is a good spot to eat with good value. I wouldn't say anything in the bakery is great. Worth a stop.

Great food!! If you are on the north shore you have to try Teds Bakery. It doesn't appear to be too much but the food is outstanding!

Thank Daniel E
