Lovely Day. We were welcomed given our reservation table and a delightful lady Marion Debuty Manager looked after all our orders and nothing was to much trouble. The Afternoon Tea with choice of tea or coffee was beautiful, glass of Prosseco was very good value. Receptionists that took my booking where very efficient but the only disappointment was there was no... More

First visit to this hotel was for a wedding. Was not blown away by the food on that occasion but know that catering for a big party is not the same as dinner for two! The hotel itself is in such a beautiful spot that we decided to have dinner when we were again in the area. The ambience is... More

It is a gorgeous building with a castle feel and very high end ambiance. Prices were actually reasonable. The meals were beautifully displayed and all cooked perfectly. I had the main special of chicken with lentil stew and it was lovely. Maybe too many flavors, however I enjoyed it. The service was very slow and our waiter disappeared. They were... More

Breathtakingly attractive hotel in a prime spot, with impressive well-laid out gardens leading to the famous old bridge itself. Probably far more impressive than a non-local like me would have expected. Not surprised that it fulfills the wedding market so ably; photogenic to the max. We visited on two evenings , a Sunday and a Wednesday. Barely anyone around on... More

I have only ever came to this hotel for lunches and dinners. The food is amazing every time. Top class. I would recommend the Brig o' Doon hotel to couples looking for a quiet romantic get away, tourists looking for some history and sightseeing, and locals on the hunt for a good meal. A stunning old building, with beautiful gardens... More

Popped in for an afternoon snack while in Alloway sightseeing. This is a truly memorable experience. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient. We only had a starter each as we were saving ourselves for dinner. I had Cullen Skink and it was fantastic, partner had Stovies and they were also excellent. Reasonable prices on top, will definitely come back here... More

My special family togetherness for my 3score year and 10 birthday dinner. I was with my family of my 8 year old Grandaughter and 6 other very close family members. This was one of the best, happiest and very best togetherness we have had for a long time. From our arrival in the bar area, the head waiter requesting our meal wishes... More
