The open window between kitchen and restaurant space proves the kitchen has nothing to hide and are ashamed of nothing that they do - and why should they? Food is excellent and done with care and the meal sizes won't leave anyone hungry. Came in with a friend who insisted we go there, and though I had no idea what... More

My daughter raved about the fish and chips. Yummy! I had the mouth watering rose marie shrimp and crawfish, incredible. Friendly and efficient staff. Cannot wait to go back

Hadn't eaten out in Ayr for ages - tend to go to country/ village eateries- but decided to visit here based on Trip Advisor ratings. Firstly, the food is outstanding across the menu. Excellent choice and beautifully cooked and full of flavour. No issues here. However, the big let down for us was the standard of service. I wouldn't say... More

Still one of my absolute favourite restaurants! Dined at 5pm before the Panto and were seated quickly with order taken promptly without being rushed. Staters of Fishcake with Chilli Jam and Frito Misto were both delicious and mains of battered haddock and roast chicken stuffed with Black Pudding were even better, the chicken especially!! I have never had a meal... More

My partner and I thought we would have breakfast for a change at a Cafe/Restaurant. We chose Saffy's in Ayr which proved to be truly awful. I ordered a Sausage sandwich with coffee and my partner had the full breakfast. When i received my breakfast sausage roll,it could not have had a cheaper more disgusting sausage (TWO LINKS) My partners... More

Went for our family Xmas dinner and absolutely enjoyed the food as we always do at Saffy's. On this occasion, however, the staff (Xmas temporary staff I think) were very abrupt and it was a case of do what we say and do not even attempt to deviate from the rules - ever! All said and done, a very nice... More

I keep forgetting how much I like this place, Jane and I hadn't been here for a while. We popped in for a quick bite and were not disappointed, Jane had the house salad with spiced chicken which was delicious and I had the breaded turkey burger with brie and cranberry, also extremely tasty. Service was friendly and efficient as... More

Small resturant which is ideal for a couple or two, nice menu with a good meal deal for lunch. Can get quite busy at lunch time so get there early. Handy menu outside if your just browsing.
