Stayed at this hotel after the races on 18tn June. It's a bit confusing because the hotel and bar/restuant are run by different people but it's all good. Everyone very helpful and friendly and working together. Rooms are motel like with their own front door, small but well appointed and continental breakfast delivered to your door. Great checkout time of... More

We ate in Aubergine both night during our recent stay and were delighted with what we found. Nothing fancy or faffy just good honest cooking. Loved the room itself, it's quite small but with it being half mirrored down two walls gives a feeling of space, added to even more when the lights are on out on the patio area.... More

My friend and I ate at the Berkeley last night 8th October 2014, we arrived 20 minutes late, because of transport issues, first thing we were greeted with was oh you are here thought you werent coming, we were then seated in the restaurant, which was lovely, before we had even sat down we had to order our drinks, then... Very tasty, well presented plates of food in a gorgeous dining room. Great food without ridiculous prices. Will certainly return to eat there, even if I cannot stay in the hotel.

We read trip advisor for this one as there are few interesting places in Ayr centre for eating since Wee Annie's vanished. Those who put the restaurant up near the top of the list were correct. Plenty of choices at lunchtime for anyone, small meal or large meal. Prawns on the menu everywhere, this cannot be bad. Everything we had... More

Went to the Berkeley Hotel to have an Anniversary Meal for Mum and Dad's Wedding Anniversary and all I can say is 'Absolutely Fantastic' great ambiance and fantastic friendly and attentive staff. Owner Megan was very welcoming and extremely friendly. Starters :- Homemade Cullen Skink, lots of fresh smoked fish in a very tasty thick and creamy sauce. Mum said... More

We received vouchers for this restaurant as a Christmas present and were delighted to discover a hidden gem in the town of Ayr. The atmosphere was very welcoming, the décor modern but comfortable, and the food was well-presented and well-cooked. The overall experience was posh but not pretentious. The restaurant and hotel are currently going through a transition and we... More
