I'm an avid race goer and frequently eat here on most race days. However visited Glasgow Fair Monday, and what a let down.Fish tea as per usual, only this time extremely small fish with other half fish.Half fish was nothing more than a piece of deep fried batter.I mentioned this to the waitress on her call back who agreed, she assured me she... The best fish and chips I have eaten in a very long time. We were staying in Prestwich and decided to try Ayr for dinner. The service was rapid with a smile. The quality of the food was top notch.

Offered quick and friendly service. Very nice fish and chips. Good quality and nice and hot. We had the full fish supper which included a drink and bread and butter. What more could you ask for. Well used by the locals.

We got fish suppers, superb portions couldn't finish it. Only draw back not a huge seating area so we took our to the nearby park which was okay but got plagued with the seagulls.

We had planned on taking our fish and chips to the beach to eat but unfortunately the rain didn't let up,so we decided to sit in instead. We were not disappointed! The female server was so friendly and cheerful, nothing was any trouble for her.The food was brilliant, hot, crispy fish, chips, real peas, bread and butter and a cup of tea,it went down a treat. It was a... Went to this fish and chip restaurant after a great day in Ayr but thoroughly dissappointed with the quality of the food, fish was very expensive got the Wellington fish supper from the menu, fish was absolutely tasteless, spent over 26.00 in the restaurant. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Don't even know if it is under new ownership, but the... More

The surroundings were tiled walls with the usual array of advertisements for their various meal deals. There was no choice of fish, just listed as "fish & chips" so I asked and was told it was Haddock. So, Haddock was the only fish available. Very nice and cleanly served with crispy batter and fresh fried chips. Tartare sauce and mayonnais... More

I popped in with my niece to get some chips to go with the ice cream from the place next door. Great chips and fritters. I really enjoyed them, sitting down the beach. The staff are friendly and efficient, I had to wait a few mins for some chips finishing cooking, but waiting for fresh chips is worth the wait.
