Four of us went to the Treehouse on Sunday night for dinner. Good deal and plenty of choice across all courses. Nice spot, lovely for people watching, and watching the world go by. I had the goats cheese for starter, it was tasty however would've...More

The one star may be misleading. Fact is food, service and drinks are all outstanding. The only issue is that unbeknownst to us this restaurant feels it is acceptable to hold a “pub quiz night” at max volume throughout the restaurant. We had booked for...More

It was a relief to find the Treehouse, as the centre of Ayr is very run-down. A menu with up-to-date favourites (eclectic?) and a good selection of drinks, served by cheerful staff. Nothing sophisticated, but welcoming to all types of customers; only the choice of...More

I tend to visit Ayr frequently on business and always visit the Treehouse. There is a strong gastro pub style menu with quirky additions. The service is prompt and high quality. The food is always of a high standard and reasonably priced. This place has...More

A full Scottish breakfast well cooked and served up looking quite splendid. Absolutely delicious. The waiter took my cleaned plate from the table and offered no tea or coffee or asked if I would like anything else. All three waiting staff appeared to be keen...More

Oh yes....there were quite a few families with children the Sunday afternoon we were there!......no probs!!☺
DavisAaa my question to you is, you obviously have terrible luck while eating out, so why would you continue doing so? So far you have had, hair in your food, a dropped baguette, (though you tried to call it "bugette"), and now cockroaches in your food!! All in a matter of days! Which leads to my next statement. Every review you have posted is actually a fabrication. You are trying to destroy business reputations for whatever reason. There's no human being that would eat, let alone accept and pay for a dropped baguette. Then you found numerous hair in your food and still ate it? I've never heard of anyone doing that! And now you're stating you had roaches in your food, and you still paid for it and walked out! No one has that much bad luck eating out, and if you really do, maybe you should eat at home more. Or like you suggest, stick with Subway (maybe you're the owner of subway?) Whatever you're trying to do won't work because karma is real. I think you should remove your reviews because not only are they fabricated, but businesses really depend on these reviews to make a better service for their REAL customers. Having your "fake" reviews just make it hard on the businesses themselves because they have to deal with the "trolls" (you). This is a professional site, you should treat it as one. Quit trying to do whatever you are doing, remove your reviews, and leave this site. Karma will catch up to you, and if needed the police will be involved. Each review you put on here leaves a trail right to you. Remove your reviews, and do things the right way, with hard work and honesty!
