Visited for a pre theatre meal and enjoyed the experience. Menu a bit limited however the meal we had was thoroughly enjoyed. Only one thing seemed out of place. When we ordered coffee we were asked if we would like sugar. When we cofirmed that we did 4 sachets were placed directly onto the table. Maybe they were short of... More

A great location, excellent food (better value if you go at lunchtime), friendly staff and right across the way from Pitlochry Festival Theatre.

Friendly and welcoming. Food was very nice, and service was rapid allowing us to get to the theatre in time for a drink and a look around the art exhibition. The pre theatre menu is limited but it was acceptable. I would go again at lunchtime when they have a large of food on offer.

Lovely little cottage eatery on the banks of the river and close to the theatre venue so you can have a bite then 10 minutes later be sitting down to watch a show. I can recommend the haddock main dish, haggis starter, salmon starter. Service was good and the meals where good fresh quality. Can get busy so better to... More

Had an enjoyable evening meal - 3 courses - all very good! I had the steak which was cooked to perfection and was accompanied by fabulous chips. The cheesecake was amazing!

Excellent food, served in good time, perfect service from our charming waitress. We're extremely glad that the theatre restaurant didn't have room for us.

We went in here on way back from a walk to the dam with my husband, mum and my 2 kids (6 and 2 years old). We thought it looked nice and had 4 star tourist board rating! First we were offered a choice of where to sit and all seemed well. Then a young man dragging his feet on... More

It's an experience. The ancient buildings with open courtyard inside; tables along the river outside, leave you a number of choices. The food was very good, and several times the owner/manager came by and chatted. We also had some laughs with the bar staff because they do have the tiniest corner to serve from. The decorations are quite nice, bamboo... More

We popped in here on the way to the dam and fish ladder for a drink and snack in the afternoon (not dinner)...we won't again... Inside a very small and dark bar there was a poor selection of beers ..and a bar man who seemed inexperienced...We ordered cake which had to be taken from the bar to the kitchen to... More
