Ideal stop off if walking Ben Vrackie. Outside seating if weather fine. Serves own brewery beers as well as others. Meals available.

Stopped here for lunch in June, nice looking place friendly staff but was disappointed with the food I had fish and chips which was far too greasy to eat and my partner had mince and tatties, the mash was lumpy and looked like it had microwaved the mince didn't have much flavour either. The waitress noticed something was wrong as... More

Myself and family stopped here for lunch due to a recommendation from a local. We sat outside in the sun and it was lovely. Food was good I had steak pie so did my husband and we both enjoyed. The only thing that wasn't liked was my sons pizza from the children's menu and I must say I agreed with... More

It's an old-style pub, you order drinks and food at the counter and they deliver it to your table. Fast service (we were starving, so glad when the food showed up very fast) and really tasty lamb shanks and fish n chips.

We came across the hotel by accident on a bike ride. We were hungry and thirsty and they came up with the goods. Firstly the thirst. There is a micro brewery attached to the hotel and I really liked the beer - Braveheart is a top pint. The food is good pub grub, wholesome and filling, well seasoned and tasty.... More

Established in 1695 boasts the menu, this is an old fashioned bar which has retained a lot of superb interior and exterior features and charm, it is comfortable, cosy and snug and welcoming and has many interesting 'nooks and crannies' in which to settle down. It is a fair walk from Pitlochry's main thoroughfare (and uphill) and quite isolated, except... More

We were strongly advised to avoid eating here, but were unfortunately left with little choice when we were stranded in the area due to a severe thunderstorm. The food is insipid at best. It kind of felt like the ingredients used were the cheapest that could be found in the local wholesaler. It's a great location and has a lot... More

We stayed in the little McPherson's Cottage run by the hotel. Snug quaint and so cozy, loved it! The pub is equally charming, sadly the bar tender was really rude. Breakfast the next morning was lovely and made up for our time in the pub. All in all I highly recommend the Moulin Hotel.

We were able to dine in the bar with our dog, which is nice. Nice food and prompt lunchtime service.
