Lovely traditional pub with very good quality food.

Lovely old coaching inn with good atmosphere. Food slightly overpriced for portion size. Fish pie was £11 for what I would consider to be a starter size portion. However, it was very good.

Stopped here. On a visit to the Edradour distillery, nice lunch, whole and Hartey. Very friendly atmosphere and a children's menu is also available.

Takes approx. 20 mins to walk to from Pitlochry but very much worth a visit . The bar has 2 log fires which helps create a lovely cosy atmosphere with staff and local pleasant and friendly . Definitely worth a visit .

I first knew this as a public bar that was separate from the hotel where you went to drink but as with so many places now they've had to adapt to customers requirements and you can eat and drink to your heart's content in the cosy atmosphere of a genuine 1700's coaching inn.

Took 27 people for a meal (after trying to book) and met with hostile reception from them. Very grumpy staff - when we thought they would have been welcoming with that size of party, considering we were all going to eat and drink there. Waitress eventually lost the attitude and was quite nice but food not that good anyway. We... More

Called in for a meal in the bar very early evening prior to going to the local theatre. The bar was very smokey (from a log fire) and it had a run down feeling. We felt like interlopers walking in to a bar with what we assumed to be local residents enjoying their drinks. The bar service was one of... More

This inn looks very attractive and has a nice cosy atmosphere but the food was very disappointing. We visited at the weekend, staff were very pleasant and welcoming and quickly found us a nice table for 8 by the fire. We ordered soup of the day, french onion soup and nachos and all were fairly poor. The worst was the... More
