Popped in here after a walk up Ben Vrackie . Lovely pub meal Fish n Chips was lovely . Washed down with a ale made in the brewery 50yards away ! Great place to end a long walk up the hills

We enjoyed a lovely meal on Saturday 24th Sept 2016. I was immediately taken with the building. I am rather annoyed to see some of the negative reviews. The Moulin Hotel does not claim to be a restaurant, hence not being able to pre-book tables which actually suited us. The food is far from what I would call 'pub' food... More

This place is full of character and serves excellent beer. We didn't eat but the food looked very appetising. Lovely walk from Pitlochry (or across from Edradour if it's good weather! ). Own brewery next door.

Stopped here for an hour during a torrential downpour. Sat outside under one of the expansive parasol/canopy. Had a pint of beer that had been brewed in house in their own brewery, along with a small single malt! We would have stayed longer and ordered food except that we already had made dinner reservations elsewhere. Really nice, cosy old world... More

Lovely pub/hotel. Great for walkers, great menu, and dogs allowed. Also very busy, you might need to wait for a table.

Stayed here for 1 night whilst on business. I agree that the decor is a bit dated but it somehow fits with the charm and character of the hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and carried a piece of luggage to my room. The bar is delightful with lots of cosy 'nooks'. The ales are made in their own... More

The family all went for lunch, it is a lovely building the beer, which is brewed on the premises offered a good choice and was delicious. Really nice seating area out the front . Where I am disappointed is, firstly the bar/lounge area of the pub is a throw back to the seventies and little chefs. I thought seating booths... More

Lovely gin selection. Try the Brockmans served with blueberries and grapefruit. Lovely lunch too. Hubby had the ploughmans - be hungry - a huge portion. I had the steak panini which comes served on a board with a little jug of gravy, pot of horseradish, crisps, homemade coleslaw and side salad - highly recommended.

My husband I ate dinner here one evening in August, 2015, after driving around the beautiful Pitlochry area. We ate in many lovely pubs on our trip, but the Moulin Restaurant was the most traditional of the lot--small and cozy, with lots of little sitting nooks. The food (steak pie and fish and chips) were fine, but the homemade ales... More

after a recommendation for a dog friendly pub and a long walk we were ready for something special and left a little disappointed. the beer choice from the Moulin brewery was good and we chose to sit outside - we then decided on what to eat and the menu was not as extensive or varied as we had hoped. The food...
