We were able to dine in the bar with our dog, which is nice. Nice food and prompt lunchtime service.

We couldn't resist eating in a historic pub on a recent trip to Scotland. The atmosphere was very authentic, and the food was delicious. We had toasties, and they were well prepared and worth the reasonable price we paid.

We always visit this restaurant when we are in the area. Great food and friendly staff. Lovely in the summer to sit outside and in the winter it is always nice and cosy inside.

Having climbed Ben Vrackie we were very hungry and muddy when we arrived. Found a wooden bench/table in the quite cosy feeling restaurant part of the pub. Made to feel very welcome by the servers in our dishevelled state! My Husband ordered at the bar. My pot of tea for one arrived before he even got back to the table.... More

OK, mums birthday, came here just over a couple of years ago, mum wanted to go back as we were staying at the same holiday cottage nearby. The page states they are a restaurant, but it is very poor. The dining room is dark, dingy, almost depressing. The menu in the restaurant is set, £22 for 2 courses, and no... More

The ancient building shows itself in the squeaky floorboards but the hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. It is obvious that the owners are winning the battle against their old building as the bar/restaurant was packed in the early Tuesday evening. As a keen craft beer consumer I found the dark beers... We stopped off at the Moulin Bar on the walk from Atholl Road in Pitlochry to the Edradour Distillery (it's less than a mile from downtown Pitlochry). Escape the tourists and be surrounded by locals in this charming old pub. They brew 4 or 5 cask ales in the building adjacent to the bar. It was a great pint and... More

The Moulin is a complete hidden gem; one of my favourite places in the Scotland which I visit time and time again whenever I am in Pitlochry. Situated about a mile up the road from the town centre of Pitlochry, at the foot of Ben Vrackie the Moulin is a real historic building full of Scottish character and charm. My... More

WE spent three nights at the Moulin Hotel. Great location, comfortable beds and good food are all to be had at the Moulin. Staff make the experience even more memorable and the Micro Brewary beers are superb. Yes, its a little worn at the edges, who cares, this is just the results of lots of happy people using the hotel.... More
