Had a really enjoyable visit even though it was very busy. Scones were delicious and tea good. Good choice of food on menu and well worth the visit.

Small Talk was a popular and busy venue today. A very hospitable host who welcomed customers as they arrived and encouraged you to wait and not walk on by. Tables are quickly cleaned after being vacated. Service was quick and friendly delivering great food for good value. The menu showed a variety of meals which looked attractive as they passed... Recommended by a helpful volunteer in PDSA charity shop when my friend and I were wilting and in need of refreshment. Greeted by a charming man who seated us and took our order. Coffee and tea excellent and the scones were the best we have tasted ( and we have tasted a lot! ) The vintage décor and atmosphere added... More

I visited Small Talk for coffee with a group of friends, it was so good that we went back the following day for lunch. While we were there we enquired about taking our Ladies Guild there for a meal if we were to visit Perth. The staff were extremely helpful, and suggested that we bring some wine with us, so... More

I've been twice recently. On both occasions the food was delicious. Service was good. Very busy little cafe. Owner really goes out of his way to chat and put customers at ease. We think we were overcharged - small issue. We should have checked bill more carefully. We got bill at till area, then paid straight away. Didn't have chance... More

This is for sure a place that has potential to be great. Setting fantastic; service out of this world, but what let the whole experience down a bit were: 1. Roll that we were served I am afraid was from the day before. 2. Scones we were served on were from the day before. 3. Cream and Jam could of... More

Fabulous and obviously popular. George very helpful with his Menu and travel advice. A great place for lunch - but pre-book first! Thanks for your help George. Carrot Cake is superb & we loved the Dumpling too.

I have visited the establishment numerous time, and always look forward to my next visit. The cooked breakfast is excellent quality (great sausage), broccoli and cheese soup amazing and range of teas and coffee that will satisfy the most discerning customer. The food is in fact so scrumptious that a wait should be expected at busier periods; but it is... More

Breakfast at Small Talk today. Quality produce - all cooked to perfection. Great service as always. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast menu is not extensive but I think something for everyone really. There may be a cheaper breakfast in Perth but the surroundings and quality of produce together with the excellent service make Small Talk well worth it.
