Excellent food. Great steaks. Warm and friendly service in the heart of St Johns Square. We all had rib eyes. Nice wine list. Outside seating but too chilly.

Early Tuesday evening meal. Pleasant enough décor. Fairly quiet. As tables are closely packed it could be 'interesting' on a busy evening. I enjoyed a duo of salmon and seabass, well presented and very tasty. The service was good and unobtrusive, with no pressure to finish up and leave. Not sure if this is usual or just a benefit of... slightly disapointing we made our choices from the pre theatre menu. Choices were two seafood selection the opinion was it didnt taste that fresh but was edible. Mussels were excellent. Main course choices were chicken supreme which was nicely presented and well cooked with lots of flavours. 3 of us had Pork belly mains and we all felt it was... More

This is one of my favourite places to eat in Perth, you can never go wrong here. The only thing that could possibly make it better would be some air conditioning as it does tend to get very hot when it's busy, especially when you're eating hot food too. Great place

Had a great night here on Saturday and the food was excellent. Service was also first class and there was a great atmosphere. The Hake for main was amazing and so was the lamb. All in all could not find one thing negative to say, was a great night. Hope to be back very soon.

Found this lovely little restaurant more by chance than design - a Tuesday night - the place was not terribly busy but quite a number of people in. It was a very relaxed atmosphere - no rush and comfortable surroundings. Only one waiter front of house but he was very pleasant and very competent. I had breast of duck for... More

Cafe Tabou's food is just brilliant, always consistently good, honest french cooking, the waiters are incredibly hard-working and knowledgeable....no fuzzing or waiting around no matter how busy they are. The fish soup was delicious, my hubbies pork belly dish lovely, i had sea food salad and the soup du jour was gorgeous, what more can i say? No matter what... More

We went for a late breakfast and thankfully it was still being served until 12. The croissants and French toast was simply the best, great for a brunch with friends. We sat outside and when the rain came the waiters were very attentive and put on the heaters for us, still very pleasant whilst watching the world go by. Inside... More

We went to this restaurant for Saturday lunch on the recommendation of friends. It was busy, which can be taken as a good sign. Tables were so close together that our chairs were touching those sitting behind us. The menu looked inviting but we were disappointed by every dish. The Chef's Salad was doused in so much balsamic vinegar that... More
