We were in for a birthday dinner tonight (8 of us). From start to finish it was absolutely perfect. The staff were attentive and friendly and this was matched by what came out the kitchen. Absolutely gorgeous! The sea bream was cooked to absolute perfection...- even if the kids did think the fish was a bit scary looking. The last 18 months have been a really tough time for the hospitality sector. So well done and thank you to all the staff for coming through to the other side of this.More

Ate at Cardo on Fathers Day for lunch and the food was amazing, so tasty and the service was particularly good. Not often places get it all right but it certain was on Sunday…look forward to next time.

Booked for lunch on Sunday and we enjoyed it so much we hope to go back next week. I had baked cod which was cooked beautifully and was light and tasty on a warm sunny day. Husband had pizza which was also excellent. Cafe gourmand...pudding gives a taste of 4 delicious puddings with a great coffee included. Lovely surroundings, great service and very reasonably priced....excellent!More

Popped in for a quick lunch and it was a fantastic experience. The waitress was super friendly all the way through. My wife is gluten free and there were lots in the menu for her. They brought out free gluten free bread to start. My...pizza was lovely but my wife’s had fillet steak on top that was cooked to perfection. Really nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend a visit.More

Having been here once before in a large group, I visted for lunch with my daughter. What a pleasure. The service was prompt and friendly. The set menu selection would have graced most a la carte menus. I had baked goat cheese and my daughter...had hake goujons for a starter. They were the perfect size and full of flavour. For starter I had the squid which was perfectly cooked. My daughter's steak was cooked to prefection as well. All for less than £40More

Got a take away for 6 pizza's. Preorderd night before. Turned up on time. Hot. Nobody could fault any of the pizza's. Mixture of veggie and meat. All extremely tasty. Personal favourite was Cardo steak. Would highly recommend

Disappointing. Food was good, but not warm enough. Service was very slow and social distancing non existent. Two servers were great but not enough of them, running about trying to operate a very busy restaurant and takeaway service. I totally understand that everyone is desperate...to get going again now that restrictions are lifting, but standards should not suffer. We will return at some point, but in the present climate we felt there were far too many people in what is a relatively small room.More
