We really enjoyed the food, setting and staff. The is plenty of space at the tables and they are set far apart so it feels very personal. The vies are wonderful across a valley and up the hills. Service was first class and the food excellent. It is a little tired and in need of a face lift. A little... More

A great choice if staying in the hotel to relax and enjoy some nice cuisine with a well maintained wine list and fairly good choice of meals offered both a la carte and table d'hote menus

Had lunch before playing golf. My lunch had ingredients missing (no chutney as described) a friends had ham out of a packet you would get from a supermarket and it was like their own brand not even a premium ham and other friend in the party had soup and a sandwich. Only 1 type of soup and the bread was... More

Had an evening meal and breakfast in this restaurant .Service was reasonable and staff pleasant , table arrangements were not ideal , leading to serving staff having to constantly apologise for squeezing past our table . Food was average but not good .

We have ate here several times over the years and our last visit was a bit of a dissappointemnt, the service was a bit erratic for example in one instance we got a cryptic commentary on the recent EU referendum, not what we wanted when supposedly fine dining. The cost of food seemed to be higher than usual and the... More

We chose this restaurant for our dinner as we stayed in the hotel. We got a quite a late dinner. The choice of the food is quite limited and the best option is the tasting menu. The dishes are very well prepared with fresh food. The wine list is decent with some good choices. The service was great and we... More

The old masters restaurant is decorated nicely and has lovely views over the Perthshire hills. The restaurant was very quiet when we visited, despite the hotel being full. I think our fellow guests had gone for bar food in the golf club bar or gone in to Perth - I wish we had. The menu sounded great but everything tasted... More
