Ate here 2 nights on the trot during the Scottish Open, it was very very good. Was quiet on the Thursday night but the Friday was alot busier...and i felt the staff struggled a bit with the demand on them ie... asked for a meal with no salad - got salad, asked for the pizza calzone to be plain -... Used to go to this pub years ago when we visited mother-in-law for our evening meal. Used to do really good curries. Place went downhill so we stopped going but heard it was now under new ownership so thought we'd try it as it was m-I-l's 88th birthday. First impressions were favourable. It has been revamped and seemed to have... More

What a pity that you did not eat in the restaurant! There is a wide selection of dishes and only quiet background music. It sounds like it would have suited you much better. The bar is more suited to people want to watch the sports on TV and maybe have a bar meal at the same time. You would find... More

We ate at Havelock while staying in the local area. The food was good and was reasonably priced and there was a choice for everyone. The service was good in the restaurant but we didn't use the bar so can't comment. We would be likely to eat here again if we were in the area.

Visited early evening with three tired grumpy children. One forgot to stop pouring the water into a glass. Waitress did not blink, just mopped it up, handed out new serviette so, kept smiling! Food was absolutely delicious. The only person who left any was me, I was so full, but wished I wasn't. All staff very friendly . Only way... More

My partner and I popped in here on our way back from culloden moor for food. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and tastey food. The staff were friendly, the place has a great feel to it.

Nice pleasant little pub. we didn't eat so cannot comment on the food. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the handful of other guests there provided a friendly atmosphere to catch up and have a drink in. Beers were not too varied, and the lighting errred on the bright side. they had sky sports, which was great, and they had a... More

Thank you for your review but think you mean the Havelock as we don't have Sky TV here and normally if there is a big game on the juke box volume is lowered until the game is finished my apologies if this was not the case. Regards Donald Macleod Manager More

We spent a couple of evenings here and had great fun playing pool with the Nairn locals! Very friendly staff and good place to end the evening - probably no white wine left!

Olde Worlde during the day, popular as a sports type bar in the evening. Friendly staff, fairly reasonable prices. Sister to The Bandstand bar/restaurant. Beer garden with lovely views of the Moray Firth.

The Havelock restaurant décor with it's terracotta colour scheme and tiffany lighting has a warm and welcoming feel. The restaurant serves a la carte British dishes cooked to order using local seasonal produce. The addition of quality bar food - "Slider" burgers, Mexican fajitas and steak sizzle platters - means there is something to tempt all tastes and age groups.
