This beautiful little restaurant was the venue for my daughter and son in law's wedding meal. We had the place to ourselves and it was beautifully decorated and cosy with a toasty open fire. The food was absolutely faultless, beautifully fresh seafood. Arrangements with Jann, all done from online and many phone calls were excellent. A special mention for Grace... More

A wonderful little restaurant set in Kyle's railway station. Nice decoration, kind staff and gorgeous food. The monkfish is the absolute star, but the seafood platter is also great. The seafood and fish is very fresh (all from local suppliers), as in others good places in the area, but the preparation is clearly superior.

I visited this little gem on the railway platform with my wife as a celebration of our 10 years together, and it exceeded both of our expectations in every way! We received a warm welcome from the waitress at the door, who showed us to our table and pointed out the menu written above our heads on a large blackboard... More

We celebrated an Anniversary yesterday evening at the Waterside, the first time we had ever been, on a recommendation from a friend. It is a dear little place, stylishly furnished with lots of quirky pictures and artefacts. The menu is written up on a blackboard on the wall - and what a menu! We had expected far less choice as... Traveling with guides/experts can pay off! We were taken to this small restaurant. We were told it would be a "surprise." Well, yeah! Neil owns it and catches the fish. He entertained us with stories while he displayed the day's catch: fresh scallops, then opened them at our table and fed us the freshest, sweetest scallops ever. The lunches had... More

We found this place by chance after trying to book an evening elsewhere & what a result it was. Excellent scallops with chorizo, sweet potato puree & salsa verde. Wonderfull monkfish in proscuitto and salsa rosso & a terrific raspberry panna cotta all washed down with very good quality wine. So good we had lunch here mid week (only open... More

We called at 20:30 to ask if the kitchen was still open. The very kind waitress told us that they were closing, but knowing that it was our last day at Skye, she let us in. We tasted some very delicious food, having also the whole restaurant for us and got also the last remaining dessert on the house. What... More

What a wonderful little quaint restaurant with fantastic food and lovely friendly staff, but its best to book. I don't usually eat fish dishes but after having a really tasty smoked haddock meal at the Waterside I'm converted. I would definitely recommend eating here.

I had read the reviews on trip advisor so booked here for a meal in September. On arrival I was told that they did not have us down and had to produce an email confirmation as proof. This is a small, intimate place with pre booking essential and so we were left for 15 minutes just stood waiting, amongst the... More
