Inverlochy Castle was unfortunately under renovation and you were not able to go inside, but it sits on nice grounds and worth having a look at.

We had dinner here on Saturday night and were confronted with a tasting menu. Not my choice, but we went ahead and were very happy. This is an historic hotel and restaurant, and both the building and grounds are beautiful. Pre dinner drinks were served in the living room and outside on the terrace giving you the choice of plush... More

The setting is georgeous. The dining is superb, The staff was very attentive but not intrusive. We could not asked for a lovelier hotel stay than the one we got here. There was a full English breakfast, walks on the grounds, a small loch where we went fishing. Tennis court needed some care and the racquets were child size. Only... More

Dinner was very expensive but we had our own private dinner room. The wines were ok, but not great. Too much salt was used...

We have already rated the restaurant in uor review of the hotel but, for those who simply want to eat her you will not be disappointed. Very high standard of service food and surroundings. Well worth a visit if you like fine food

It is almost certainly the best restaurant within a 50 miles radius. The surroundings in an old Scottish Country House is an opulent setting with perfect views. Ask for a window table to appreciate. The dining room is small and holds about thirty and there is a small family room as well. The atmosphere depends. On a good night it's... More

First of all, the dining room furniture was a gift from the king of Norway! The view is a gift from God, absolutely stunning and the food is a gift from France, and you are in a castle in Scotland. The restaurant is run by the father and son of Alert and Michel Roux, famous for their restaurants and the... More

Wonderful sandwiches - beef and horseradish, beautifully presented and the dessert was divine. Service impeccable.

We had high hopes for this venue but the experience fell short of our expectations. The drive through beautiful gardens to the stunning castle had us all excited, we were warmly welcomed and shown to an exquisite room with sensational views toward the Loch for pre dinner drinks. For me, there were just too many basic mistakes: not always serving... More
